Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a busy month ahead of them, as 12 games have already been confirmed for July 2026, and more are almost certainly yet to be announced. Xbox Game Pass has had its ups and downs lately, with Microsoft first raising the price of the subscription service to $30 before dropping it back down to $23. The Game Pass Ultimate price decrease was definitely the right move, but it did come at the cost of Call of Duty being a day one game.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers may not get Call of Duty as a day one game anymore, but they still have plenty of day one releases to look forward to in the months ahead. Some of the most-anticipated games of the year will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one, with Gears of War: E-Day locked in as the big fall 2026 Game Pass game.

In the more immediate future, Xbox Game Pass subscribers have 12 games to look forward to in July 2026. Thanks to various release date announcements, we know that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can mark their calendars for Winds of Arcana: Ruination on July 6, Palworld‘s 1.0 release on July 10, Ascend To Zero on July 13, Denshattack on July 15, Fogpiercer on July 17, Planet Crafter on July 21, Tears of Metal on July 22, Halo: Campaign Evolved on July 28, and Mistfall Hunter on July 29. Shift at Midnight, Speedrunners 2: King of Speed, and Wuthering Waves are all on deck for the Xbox Game Pass July 2026 lineup as well, but they currently lack specific release dates.
Out of all the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in July 2026, there is one clear headliner, and that is undoubtedly Halo: Campaign Evolved. Halo: Campaign Evolved is the second remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, and is releasing to celebrate that game’s 25th anniversary. Halo: Campaign Evolved doesn’t have the original game’s iconic multiplayer mode, but it does recreate the critically-acclaimed campaign with graphics that better-match today’s standards and adds a few brand-new missions to the mix.
Another big release hitting Xbox Game Pass in July 2026 that subscribers will want to keep an eye on is Palworld‘s 1.0 release. Palworld‘s 1.0 update is going to be huge, and should be the perfect excuse for lapsed players to return to the mega-popular survival game. It’s been over two years since Palworld debuted in early access on Game Pass, so those that haven’t played in a while might want to give it another look.
All things considered, July 2026 is looking especially busy when it comes to new Xbox Game Pass additions, and there will likely be even more titles revealed for the service in the near future. Of course, some games will leave Xbox Game Pass as well, but hopefully the arrivals outnumber the departures.
