Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel has released two brand-new Selection Packs for the month of June, both adding new cards to the game and bringing back reprints of powerful cards. Since the release of the popular online trading card game in early 2022, Konami has regularly added new cards to the game for players to acquire. Master Duel‘s Selection Packs typically serve as the main way Konami introduces its newest cards, while new Secret Packs allow players to more easily acquire different themes. Now, Konami is adding new cards and bringing back plenty of old cards.
Throughout Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel‘s lifespan, Konami has released multiple “reprint” Selection Packs, combining a plethora of the game’s most powerful and popular cards. Packs like “Name of Champions” have featured plenty of commonly-used cards, including hand traps like “Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring” and Extra Deck staples like “Baronne de Fleur.” New reprints have also often included alternate artworks for cards like “Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess” and “Knightmare Unicorn.” Master Duel‘s newest Selection Packs are now adding a plethora of new cards.

Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Adds 2 New Selection Packs
- Available until August 9
- Lord of Dimensions: Adds new cards for “Fire King,” “Vaalmonica,” “Supreme King,” and “Sky Striker” archetypes.
- Victory in Progress: Reprints popular cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel meta
“Victory in Progress” debuts as a “reprint” Selection Pack featuring some of the most powerful cards dominating the Master Duel meta. The popular “Snake-Eye” strategy is seeing several of its cards featured in the pack, including “Diabellstar the Black Witch” and “Snake-Eyes Poplar.” Hand Traps like “PSY-Framegear Gamma” and “Effect Veiler” are also included as a part of the set, useful across a variety of strategies. Master Duel‘s new cards are expected to augment some of the game’s most prevalent strategies. The “Fire King” cards featured in “Lord of Dimensions” have often seen play in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG alongside the “Snake-Eye” theme, already a dominant force in Master Duel‘s competitive scene. The fan-favorite “Sky Striker” archetype also gets several powerful pieces of support in “Sky Striker Ace – Camellia” and “Combined Maneuver – Engage Zero!” among others. Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel‘s newest Selection Packs should give fans plenty of options for building new decks.
