Z-A Players Can Claim Some Free Items Now

Z-A Players Can Claim Some Free Items Now

Pokemon Legends: Z-A players can now grab some free items before the Mega Dimension DLC goes live, as The Pokemon Company revealed a code that can be used to get some nifty goods via the Internet. Additionally, Pokemon Legends: Z-A players will have plenty of time to redeem the free item code, as it will be available until March 31, 2027.

The news came amid a busy month for Pokemon Legends: Z-A. On December 10, Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC will go live. The DLC is targeted to players who have already beaten the game’s main story, so interested trainers must ensure they have made sufficient story progress to access the main part of the upcoming expansion. The titular Mega Dimension, known as Hyperspace Lumiose, is stated to be tied to the Mythical Pokemon called Hoopa, who has the power to open wormholes to different dimensions and spaces. Pokemon Legends Z-A‘s DLC will also bring new Mega Evolutions, including Mega Lucario Z and Mega Baxcalibur, for trainers to add to their teams. The Mega Dimension DLC is now available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99 for both the original Switch and the Switch 2 versions of Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

Pokemon Gen 10 Leaks Ride Mechanics, Scrapped Features, New Image

Pokemon Gen 10 has been affected by multiple leaks, now including an explanation of ride mechanics, scrapped features, and a new image.

All Available Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gifts (December 5, 2025)

  • 5 Max Revives/10 Ultra Balls/10 Full Restores – PREPAR1NG (expires March 31, 2027)
  • Diancite – N/A (Get via Internet, no expiration date)
  • Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y – N/A (Get via Internet, no expiration date)
  • Ralts with Gardevoirite – N/A (Get via Internet, expires February 28, 2026)

Ahead of the Mega Dimension expansion’s launch, Pokemon Legends: Z-A players have some items they can now download for free via Mystery Gift. After unlocking Mystery Gift in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, players can use the code PREPAR1NG to download an item pack containing five Max Revives, 10 Ultra Balls, and 10 Full Restores. While Ultra Balls and Full Restores can be purchased at Pokemon Centers located throughout Lumiose City, Max Revives can only be obtained through specific missions or as random drops. Given that 10 Ultra Balls and 10 Full Restores cost a combined 21,000 Poke Dollars, the new item pack code can save players a little money going into the Mega Dimension expansion. Pokemon Legends: Z-A players have until March 31, 2027, to claim the new Mystery Gift item bundle.

The items enclosed in the new Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift will likely be handy in the Mega Dimension DLC. Given that the Pokemon inside Hyperspace Lumiose have breached the long-established level cap of 100, the Full Restores and Max Revives offered by the new Mystery Gift may come in handy during an excursion. Additionally, the Ultra Balls will be necessary to catch any exclusive critters that Pokemon trainers may encounter in the Mega Dimension DLC. Some of these Pokemon include Chimecho, Golisopod, and Annihilape.

Pokemon Trainers Should Claim These Mystery Gifts As Well

Additionally, players have some Mega Stones to freely claim via the Internet. Early adopters of Pokemon Legends: Z-A have until February 28, 2026, to claim a Level 5 Ralts holding a Gardevoirite. The Mega Stones for Diancie and Mewtwo are also available as free Mystery Gift downloads as of this writing, and have no expiration dates. Along with the Mega Stones, trainers can also undertake special side missions to battle and catch Mewtwo and Diancie respectively. However, both of these powerful, legendary Pokemon are Level 70. Ergo, Pokemon Legends: Z-A trainers will need patience, luck, and a few Ultra Balls on hand to capture these notorious monsters.

While a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is necessary for Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Ranked Battle content, it is not required to redeem any Mystery Gifts. Ergo, Pokemon trainers looking to explore the Mega Dimension expansion, and capture any returning Pokemon throughout Hyperspace Lumiose, should consider using all available Mystery Gifts at their disposal. With 2026 just weeks away, it remains to be seen what else The Pokemon Company has in store for Mystery Gifts in future Pokemon Legends: Z-A updates.
