The next big action-RPG of 2026, The Blood of Dawnwalker, has a September release date, and if you’re looking to grab it for PC, you can check now to see if your rig is ready for the dark fantasy adventure. As revealed during today’s official livestream, The Blood of Dawnwalker requires some hefty processing power, but there’s a catch here.
As developer Rebel Wolves noted, the specifications below are for PCs that are not running upscaling and frame-generation technology like Nvidia DLSS or AMD FSR. With those tools activated, performance will be improved, and they are supported in the game. Without those options, the GPU requirements are on the steep side, with the best graphical options requiring 40-series and up Nvidia graphics cards with a minimum of 12GB of VRAM to get the game running at a high resolution and 60fps.
The rest of the specs are more modest and standard by now, with the game requiring 60GB of storage capacity on an SSD, relatively small amounts of RAM, and decent CPUs. You can see the full list below.
Rebel Wolves was founded by former CD Projekt Red Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz in February 2022, and the studio also includes several CDPR veterans like design director Daniel Sadowski, narrative director Jakub Szamalek, animation director Tamara Zawada, and art director Bartłomiej Gaweł. A dark fantasy RPG built in Unreal Engine 5, The Blood of Dawnwalker features a dual-gameplay loop where players wield human powers during the day and vampiric skills at night.
The game’s story also unfolds over 30 days, with each mission advancing the clock forward as a showdown looms overhead. This gives the game a subtle sense of urgency, but it also leaves room for players to take their time to shape the plot and explore 14th-century Europe. The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 3.
