The joys of an RPG like Baldur’s Gate 3 do not just come from the thrilling adventures found within the fantasy world, but in the creation of one’s character. Baldur’s Gate 3 has an amazing array of outfits and clothing that will have players spending hours crafting their perfect character and party; however, if they want more options than provided by the game, they can find a plethora of mods from the Baldur’s Gate 3 community to help spice up their fashion.
These mods range from obscure armor, fan creations, new dyes, and even armor sets from other games entirely. The modding community constantly impresses when it does its best to show its passion for the game and the devs behind it, and Baldur’s Gate 3 is certainly no exception.

When Two RPG Masterpieces Collide
What are mods but the ultimate love letter to a game? Inspired by other projects that they love, plenty of creators use their abilities to marry two IPs that will otherwise never come together. Baldur’s Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are probably the most universally beloved RPGs of the 2020s, and they both tell great stories, have top-notch characters, and are closer to AA rather than AAA releases. Despite falling within the same genre, they are very different games, and there is no guarantee that a fan of BG3 will gravitate towards Clair Obscur. However, this modder clearly did.

With many impressive games under the RPG banner in 2025, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, The Outer Worlds 2, and more offer outstanding experiences.
This pack adds a few different armor sets from Clair Obscur: Gustave’s suit, Maelle’s standard uniform, Maele’s pure white uniform, and Alicia’s outfit. They all come with camp versions, making them all-around usable. These clothes are based on robes, so the stats will match those. These outfits are pretty great looking in a vacuum, but this mod is mainly for people who love both games.
Origin-Themed Cloaks
A Cloak For Each BG3 Companion
Some BG3 clothing mods add attire that feels ripped right out of another universe, and they are great. However, there is a lot to be said about mods that emphasize authenticity and immersion, with the goal being to add something that makes sense for the world and characters. This mod serves as a prime example, as it adds cloaks that fit the companions’ backgrounds and personalities. Consequently, they might not be the most instantly eye-catching clothes, but they just look right when they are worn by the characters.
As standard, each cloak comes with some special features. For instance, Shadowheart’s Shadowed Cloak grants a bonus to spell attacks while obscured and radiant damage resistance. The Mystral Clock lets Gale cast one free spell per rest, along with a bonus for saving throws against spells. Just solid additions that make these clothes feel worthwhile rather than just set dressing.
Erudite Robe — A Potent Robe for Wizards

While every class comes with its share of armor options, a few types need to wait quite a while to get visually interesting outfits that help them shine. Wizards have to wait longer than most before they can start to show off their taste in fashion, particularly if they want robes. The Potent Robe is available in the base game, and it uses the character’s Charisma to increase their cantrips and temporary hit points. The clothing looks fantastic, but it is only really viable if you have a Charisma caster.
Using this robe as its base, this mod swaps Charisma for Intelligence, making it a viable option for wizards like Gale. Besides the shift in ability and a different default design, the Erudite Robe offers the same benefits. If you prefer the look of the Potent Robe, you can also download a version of this mod that copies over that design.

Gothyanki Gear
A Complete Package

The Githyanki are one of the many interesting aspects of Baldur’s Gate 3, and they definitely deserve the attention that the game provides them. However, they are rather limited in their cosmetics, and it’s mainly just their silver armor that’s present. With the Gothyanki Gear, players can add a bit more style to this race.
The Gothyanki Gear provides new leathers and themes, from cosmetics for brawlers, warlocks, pirates, and more. Plenty of cosmetic choices for the Githyanki certainly fit their character, and the outfits themselves seem very on-brand.
Wisdom Caster Armor
Balanced Armor For Clerics And Druids
Compared to most other classes, druids and clerics seemed to get the short end of the stick when it comes to armor. If you are a magic user, you mostly have to rely on robes, which are relatively scarce and don’t always provide great defense. This mod specifically focuses on these two classes and introduces new armor in all three of Baldur’s Gate 3‘s acts, so players always have balanced options that meet their present needs.
You can buy these armors from Brem (Act 1), Lan Tarv (Act 2), and Mystic Carrion (Act 3), and they provide a fairly wide range of benefits. The goal of this mod is not to overpower players but rather to provide an experience that fits the current difficulty level, and it works very well for that.

Airy: Tona Inspired
A Throwback To An Oblivion Mod
Mods inspiring newer mods is just the circle of life. Tona is a The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion modder who created detailed armor and clothes back in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Aruless used this inspiration to create a mod for Skyrim that ported some of Tona’s wardrobe, and this 2026 mod does the same for Baldur’s Gate 3.
In fact, this one goes a bit further, as it is a recreation of Tona’s Airy outfit, giving it a unique flair that fits BG3. This mod comes with two variants of the outfit, with one having a plate chest that gives it a more practical aesthetic. At the moment, only human characters with the female slender body type can use it, along with elves, half-elves, drows, and tieflings.

This mod provides a new armor set for body types 1–4, complete with their own set of perks and traits that make them worth using. Luckily for those who still want a vanilla playthrough, these outfits won’t grant outrageous bonuses, but ones that fit the theme of a Witcher rather well.
Complete with a black color scheme and thick leather, these Witcher outfits are perfect for those who want to wear the garb of a hunter. It’s the perfect set for those seeking Auntie Ethel to cure her of life itself, but this outfit certainly would be cooler if it were themed around The Witcher, rather than just Witchers.

With so many body types and outfits, it’s no surprise that not all of them fit how they are supposed to. Luckily, if players are still having issues with clothes clipping to reveal something rather inappropriate and NSFW, then they can download the Backless Outfits Clipping Fix.
Whilst this mod won’t add any new outfits, it might help the players out there who can’t seem to walk or enter sneak without exposing their lower regions. It will certainly help with immersion, as players can run around freely without worrying about genital jumpscare.
Camp Robes
Use The Camp Clothing To Decide How Your Characters Look
Camp Clothing dictates the way a character dresses at campsites, but it can also be used to visually alter their appearance while traveling. Basically, players can make characters always appear in their camp attire, while still keeping the benefits of the armor set they are actually wearing. Although the base game has quite an impressive range of Camp Clothes, they are all “casual” garments that are separate from armor or robes. You cannot pick one of the latter as Camp Clothing, meaning you cannot use them as your default visual attire.
