The Destroyer’s playstyle is quite similar in solo or team play. He’s not the overall best at any single thing, be it combat or survival, but balances everything in a way that other classes struggle.
When it comes to squad play in Marathon, Triage is one of the most valuable support classes. This Runner Shell is built around healing, recovery, and helping teammates stay alive during difficult fights. In extraction shooters, surviving a fight often matters more than simply getting a kill. Tanks, helicopters, and jets are a big part of the game, and Engineers are the ones who deal with them. They carry rockets, mines, and tools that destroy enemy vehicles. They are also the only class that can repair friendly vehicles and equipment, making them just as important for defense as they are for attack.

The Gunner is the team’s anchor. He carries heavy weapons designed to handle large groups of enemies and sustained pressure. He also uses a shield generator that creates a temporary safe zone. During intense fights, revives or retreats that shield can save a mission. His zipline launcher also helps the team cross long vertical spaces, especially when carrying heavy objectives. The Scout is the fast mover. He uses a grappling hook to reach high places quickly. This makes him excellent for gathering hard-to-reach minerals and scouting ahead. He also carries a flare gun that lights up large caves.
