Don’t Make the Same Mistake I Did in Forza Horizon 6

Don’t Make the Same Mistake I Did in Forza Horizon 6

Those playing Forza Horizon 6 should be sure to avoid the mistake I made when playing through its various races and events. Forza Horizon 6 is a massive open world racing game that lets players loose in Japan. Players are free to wreak havoc, smashing through objects and forests in pursuit of high scores, or they can participate in curated challenges and competitions that allow them to upgrade their wristbands and unlock even more content.

Forza Horizon 6 wristbands can be upgraded by earning Horizon Festival Points. Horizon Festival Points are doled out for all kinds of things, but the primary way players will get them in the game is by winning races. One of the other ways players can rack up a ton of Horizon Festival Points is by taking pictures of cars, and they should be doing this in every race that has cars they haven’t logged yet.

Forza Horizon 6 Is Crossing Over With LEGO

LEGO has just announced an official crossover with Forza Horizon 6 ahead of the game’s launch later this month.

Make Sure You’re Snapping Photos in Forza Horizon 6

During my time with Forza Horizon 6, I largely ignored this easy way to get Horizon Festival Points, and so there were a couple of times when trying to earn the last wristbands that I had to grind through less-interesting content to get the job done. Had I been snapping photos of new cars throughout my entire time with the game, I would have largely avoided the grind. Each new car is worth 10 Horizon Festival Points, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you consider that there are 638 cars in the game, there is 6,380 points on the table from just the photos alone. If you make it a habit of snapping photos of the cars in each race as you naturally make your way through the game, you will save yourself some headache later on.

Luckily, there isn’t any guesswork when it comes to which cars you have yet to take a photo of in Forza Horizon 6. A camera symbol appears above cars that you still need to log. I recommend getting the car you’re currently driving in the shots as well because your car won’t have the symbol. Multiple cars can be in the same shot, which makes things a lot easier. The points will definitely start adding up and save you some trouble when it’s time to get the final wristbands.

How to Take Photos of Cars in Forza Horizon 6

  1. Push up on the d-pad
  2. Press A to take a photo

Taking photos in Forza Horizon 6 is super simple. All players need to do is press “up” on the d-pad and then tap A to take the shot. As long as the cars are close enough and there isn’t anything obstructing the view, they should count. Players will be given a checklist of the cars they managed to capture in the photo, and the camera icon will disappear when getting back into the game. You don’t have to save the photos or anything like that — simply get the photo and get back to racing.

If you make sure you are taking photos of all the cars in your Forza Horizon 6 races as you play through the game, you will be able to make progress faster, in turn unlocking more events and content. It’s a much more efficient way to play than waiting until after you’ve already completed all the races, that’s for sure.
