Between its action-packed combat and the introduction of Cal Kestis as a new canon character, the Star Wars Jedi series has brought forth one of the franchise’s best modern stories. It was recently confirmed that another Cal Kestis Star Wars story is on the way, but the biggest question is when fans will get to see the first sneak peek. That moment may be sooner than expected.

Star Wars Jedi 3 was one of the main games voiced as a hopeful announcement. This is far from an official confirmation that Star Wars Jedi 3 will be one of the big Summer Games Fest reveals, but Insider Gaming Editor-in-Chief Tom Henderson shared some interesting insight into what Cal Kestis’ next chapter could have in store.

I mean this was like a year ago or whatever, but I heard that like Cal was going to be older in the game, so I don’t know if they’re doing like a little time jump or something.

An older version of Cal would be fascinating, and this isn’t the first time that a time jump has been suggested by insiders. There was a jump in time between Fallen Order and Survivor, so that also wouldn’t be too surprising, either.
