NTE Reveals Two New Characters for Version 1.2

NTE: Neverness to Everness has officially revealed two brand-new characters set to join the playable roster during the Version 1.2 update. Shinku and Iroi were both confirmed to be releasing as S-Class characters in NTE, with each character’s element also confirmed.

The open-world RPG from Hotta Studio has already been a hit with many fans, thrusting players into the Anomaly-filled city of Hethereau. The game offers a variety of activities to do throughout its open world, from high-flying street races to managing multiple cafes throughout the city. NTE also includes a multitude of unique characters for players to add to their team, with the recently launched Version 1.1 adding two more roster members in Lacrimosa and Chaos. Now, Hotta Studio is getting players ready for the game’s next update, showing off a pair of characters coming to the playable cast.

NTE Reveals Shinku and Iroi for Version 1.2

NTE showcased two new characters joining the playable roster on the game’s social media accounts. Shinku is expected to be the first character making her debut in Version 1.2, appearing as an S-Class Cosmos character from the Bureau of Anomaly Control’s Containment Strike Unit 2. The second character appearing in Version 1.2 will be another character hailing from the same unit in Hethereau’s Anomaly-focused organization, with Iroi releasing as an Anima unit during the second half of the patch. NTE‘s Version 1.2 update is currently expected to be released on July 8, with Iroi launching three weeks later on July 29.

The pair of new characters in NTE‘s Version 1.2 update will already show some similarities with past limited characters. Both Shinku and Iroi will share the same Esper attributes as the characters debuting in Version 1.0, with Nanally appearing as an Anima unit and Hotori as a Cosmos unit. The new characters hailing from the Bureau of Anomaly Control’s CSU-2 also make them teammates with one of NTE‘s starter units, with A-Class character Mint also being part of the same division.

NTE has already welcomed a plethora of exciting new characters to the game’s roster through its initial limited banners. Version 1.0 featured two members of Eibon Antique Shop as its limited characters, with Nanally and Hotori both appearing prominently in the launch update’s main story. Lacrimosa also appeared in her own side story during Version 1.0 before becoming fully playable in Version 1.1, giving players the chance to try out the character early. NTE even gives fans multiple chances to pick up free characters from the Standard banner, with a one-time guaranteed S-Class selector available for pulling from the permanent gacha and an additional free unit as a launch event.

Fans of NTE shouldn’t have to wait long to meet even more members of the RPG’s expansive cast. Hotta Studio has already revealed a multitude of characters set to appear throughout the game’s initial patches beyond its initial roster, both through the game’s story and teaser trailers. Characters like Alphard, Lingko, and Nitsa have all been teased as potential future additions to NTE‘s playable roster, with each expected to play a significant role in the early plot of the RPG. NTE is poised to keep up its early momentum, with numerous exciting new characters on the way.
