The original post from Bussey shared a conversation with a member of Twitch’s support staff, suggesting that pre-roll ads on streams now last up to 90 seconds, and mid-roll ads up to four minutes. The official Twitch Support account refuted those claims, suggesting that the platform is not making changes to extend the duration of its ad breaks beyond its creator-set timeframes. Zach Bussey countered the official response with screenshots of Twitch ad segments showing more than three minutes of ad time remaining in a break.
