Mizkif recently shared an official update about the progression of his lawsuit against fellow Twitch streamer Emiru, with his lawyer urging him to proceed with legal action. The lawsuit accuses Emiru of defamation over claims of abuse, harassment, and more against the Twitch streamer.
The co-founder of popular streaming organization OTK has been embroiled in a legal battle against two of his former colleagues since late 2025. Mizkif officially filed a lawsuit in November 2025 against both Emiru and OTK co-founder Asmongold, seeking punitive damages for defamation from the fallout of the controversy surrounding his removal from OTK. Mizkif was accused of harassment by Emiru with Asmongold also named in the lawsuit, claiming that the mistreatment by Emiru and Asmongold did significant damage to his reputation as a content creator. Now, Mizkif’s legal battle against Emiru is reportedly ready to proceed, according to a recent update.
Mizkif Is Moving Forward with Emiru Lawsuit
Mizkif gave an update about the status of his ongoing lawsuits against his former OTK colleagues in a recent YouTube video. Mizkif read through parts of his case against Emiru within the video, claiming that the allegations made by Emiru are false. He states that he did not “admit to everything” as Emiru had claimed in a previous livestream, and the claims by Emiru and former OTK co-founder Asmongold caused severe damage to his reputation and caused him to lose friends. Mizkif confirmed that a magistrate judge suggested he pursue the lawsuit against Emiru, stating that the claims from Emiru were “reasonably capable of a defamatory meaning.” Mizkif was quick to state that the judge’s statement was not an official verdict, but a suggestion from the court to move forward with the case.

Alongside the update about his case against Emiru, Mizkif also shared an update about his lawsuit regarding Asmongold. The magistrate judge suggested that Mizkif should dismiss his case against Asmongold without prejudice in the same court, potentially having the option to reopen the case later. The judge also urged Mizkif to seek arbitration and stay the cases with OTK, Mythic Talent, and King Gaming Labs, which Mizkif would ultimately reject the arbitration suggestion. The report also recommended that Mizkif should submit a definitive statement to the court, including specific quotes from Emiru’s livestream and including evidence debunking her claims.
The allegations levied against Mizkif quickly became one of the biggest controversies in the streaming community. Emiru’s original claims against Mizkif accuse the streamer of a variety of serious offenses, including emotional abuse, sexual assault, and neglecting to feed her pet rabbits, which Emiru claims resulted in their death. Emiru’s claims led more streamers to come forward with accusations of alleged wrongdoing, including fellow Twitch streamer Quqco similarly accusing Mizkif of sexual assault.
Mizkif’s ongoing lawsuit against the pair of streamers has already seen Asmongold share his own response to the legal dispute. Asmongold officially filed a motion to dismiss the case against him in February 2026, stating that Mizkif failed to present valid claims against him within the case. The streamer’s lawyer also addressed any responses Asmongold may have made about the lawsuit on stream, stating that public comments about Mizkif’s legal proceedings could not be held as evidence against Asmongold. Mizkif’s lawsuit against Emiru continues to grow more complex by the day, with the streamer likely preparing for a long and messy legal battle.
