Pokemon Krispy Kreme donuts may finally be coming to the United States, according to a new leak. The collaboration is one that’s been held a number of times before, but fans in the US haven’t been given a chance at the Pokemon donuts.
2026 has been a big year for Pokemon, as it marks the 30th anniversary of the franchise, and the 10th anniversary of Pokemon GO, which made a huge impact when it first released. Like other games experiencing major anniversaries this year, Pokemon has been celebrating with a number of events, giveaways, game reveals, and of course, merchandise. Now, 10 years after the collab first got its start, it looks like it’s finally coming to the USA.
Pokemon Krispy Kreme Donuts Finally Revealed for the US
A new leak indicates that Krispy Kreme is finally bringing its popular Pokemon donuts to the United States. The leak comes by way of Snackolator, who shared that they’d been made privy to a new collection of Pokemon Krispy Kremes that will be sold in supermarkets. Snackolator also shared an image, which reveals a six-pack of Krispy Kreme donuts with Pokemon-themed packaging and donut designs. The box includes designs based on Pikachu, Charmander, and Jigglypuff, plus a Poke Ball. Judging by the shapes, it looks like Pikachu and Charmander may be filled donuts, as they seem to lack holes, while the other four are traditional-style. The donuts include decorative pieces of Pikachu, Charmander, and Jigglypuff on top, but it’s not clear if that part is edible or not.

Snackolator claims that the donuts could arrive as early as the end of July, but isn’t 100% sure about the release timing yet. Pricing, participating store chains, and locations haven’t been shared for the items. Fans will likely be able to find them at grocery stores where Krispy Kreme donuts can typically be purchased, but the two companies will undoubtedly share more information once they’re ready to be released.
Although Krispy Kreme is a United States-based company, this marks the first time that a collaborative effort between Pokemon and Krispy Kreme has been offered in the country. The collabs began a decade ago in South Korea, and over the years since, have been offered in various places around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. It’s not clear why the collab has never been offered in the US, though its absence in Japan, the home country of Pokemon, is likely because The Pokemon Company regularly collaborates with Japanese chain Mister Donut instead.
As with any Pokemon offering, fans should be aware that there will likely be high demand for these items in stores. While it’s usually merchandise, collectibles, and things like Pokemon cards that draw the biggest hordes of customers, grocery store offerings aren’t immune. Things like the Pokemon cereals, Pokemon Oreos, and even Pokemon Hershey’s Kisses have faced significant shortages due to high demand. Since the Pokemon donuts won’t be edible for long, though, there may not be quite as much of a crush from resellers as usual. Nonetheless, fans who are hoping to secure Pokemon Krispy Kreme donuts should make sure to look for an official reveal in the days or weeks to come.
