Fallout has never been short on Americana, memorabilia, and suitable merch, but few are as recognizable as the Pip-Boy, which makes the latest franchise release exciting for long-time fans. Fallout‘s Pip-Boys have been a mainstay in the franchise, appearing in every major game, and are as associated with the franchise as Vaults, Power Armor, wastelands, the Vault Boy, and the phrase “War. War never changes.”
While every Fallout game has only made items like the Pip-Boy all the more recognizable, the Fallout Prime Video series has arguably done as much for non-gaming audiences too. The Fallout TV Show’s protagonist Lucy Maclean, the machinations of her father Hank, and the supporting cast all support the idea that Fallout isn’t just for gaming nerds, and that makes creating only 10,000 real Pip-Boys somewhat of an evil decision.

The Overseer’s Edition Fallout Pip-Boy 3000 MK V is now available for pre-order through the official Bethesda Gear storefront, giving fans a one-to-one, die-cast recreation of the Pip-Boy seen in the Fallout TV series. The replica costs $299.99 and is limited to just 10,000 units worldwide, making it a particularly notable collectible for dedicated Fallout fans.

The replica is based specifically on the Overseer’s Pip-Boy 3000 MK V from the show, recreated using references from the screen-used prop and even its original paint samples. It features a gold finish matching the version worn by Hank in Fallout Season 2, along with a functioning TFT LCD screen containing more than 15 screens and animations taken directly from the series. The construction also combines die-cast metal with injection-molded ABS, giving the Pip-Boy a substantial physical presence beyond a simple display replica.
The Overseer’s Edition includes a Brain-Computer Interface Implant Chip self-assembly kit based directly on the device used in Fallout Season 2. The kit contains 40 components that can be assembled into a display-grade prop replica, giving collectors another piece of Fallout’s television adaptation to display alongside the Pip-Boy.
