A talented LEGO builder online has shared their recreation of the Millennium Falcon using the 10343 Botanicals Mini Orchid set. Despite being a pretty small LEGO set out of the box, they have faithfully recreated the iconic Star Wars ship while using as few pieces as possible.
The 10343 Mini Orchid set was released back in January 2025 as part of the popular LEGO Botanicals line. This series of LEGO releases are focused on home plants, making them perfect for home decorating. It began in 2021, and has only continued to rise in popularity since, particularly among adults who are looking for a way to infuse LEGO into their home decor in fun and natural ways.
Custom LEGO Millennium Falcon Build With Botanicals Mini Orchid Set
Redditor mr_Tii shared their impressive custom LEGO Millennium Falcon build, recreating the iconic Star Wars ship using the 10343 Botanicals Mini Orchid set. Despite the original set featuring just 274 pieces, they haven’t used anywhere close to that for this alternate LEGO build, making it all the more impressive that they’ve been able to invoke the spirit of the ship. It’s cool to see how creative they’ve had to be to make it happen, even using part of the plant pot as the Millennium Falcon’s cockpit.
Unfortunately, the instructions for this LEGO Millennium Falcon alternate build do not appear on Rebrickable, and mr_Tii has not suggested that they’re available anywhere else, either. However, it seems to use so few pieces that those who did want to try it with their own Mini Orchid set might even be able to eyeball it. Instructions or not, it’s still an extremely cool alternate build.
The Millennium Falcon is a popular choice when it comes to fan-made alternate builds. It’s fun to see all the different interpretations – just about everyone can immediately recognize the intergalactic hunk of junk, so the builds have to be spot on to be effective.
