One of the highest-rated PC games of 2026 is finally making the leap to consoles, with Bit Egg Inc.’s Lost and Found Co. heading to both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on November 10. The adorable indie hidden object game boasts 93% positive reviews on Steam and a score of 90 on Metacritic, at the time of writing, and players who enjoy a laid-back cozy adventure with an immersive hand-drawn world can now look forward to trying out Lost and Found Co. on Nintendo systems.
Indie games often find their start on PC platforms where the barrier to entry is noticeably lower than attempting an immediate launch on consoles with their own unique backend development requirements. When those games are able to make a strong enough impact and hit higher sales margins, the subsequent demand and community support for such titles to receive console ports can open a smoother path to multiplatform releases. Thanks to Lost and Found Co. ranking among the best games of 2026 so far, developer Bit Egg Inc. and co-publisher Gamirror Games are now preparing for a big Switch and Switch 2 launch for the hit game in November.
Lost and Found Co. Brings Highly-Praised Hidden-Object Gaming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2
Lost and Found Co. sees players taking on the role of Ducky, a duck-turned-human intern at Goddess Mei’s company, who helps local townspeople find their lost items scattered around whimsical locations. Players will need to find the missing objects, solve various puzzles, and help out a small dragon who has lost her powers. Each locale features a children’s puzzle book aesthetic and is filled with magical items and quirky residents. Ducky must be guided through pure hidden-object gameplay to return the lost items to each respective owner, sifting through thousands of interactable objects and meeting dozens of characters with their own intriguing backstories. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition will feature enhanced gameplay, courtesy of the Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, plus local co-op play supported by GameShare. Both the Switch and Switch 2 versions will have motion controls for aiming, allowing players to search for objects in a more immersive way.

In addition to finding the lost items, Ducky can also decorate her bedroom with a wide variety of cute collectibles and cozy furnishings, which can be customized and placed with a robust yet easy-to-use room editor. After completing the main single-player story campaign, players can try their hand at the bonus challenge levels or seek out special Easter eggs and other surprises hidden throughout the magical world. The critic and audience reviews for Lost and Found Co. have praised its in-depth hidden-object gameplay and adorable visuals, with others highlighting the room decorating as the perfect feature to help unwind after scouring the lands for all the lost items.
Considering the sheer number of cozy games on Nintendo Switch consoles, it is perhaps unsurprising that an indie darling like Lost and Found Co. is prioritizing a move to those systems over PlayStation or Xbox. That said, it would not be unheard of for an indie hit to eventually make its way across as many gaming platforms as possible, so interested fans may want to keep an eye out to see if Lost and Found Co. expands even further after its launch on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on November 10.
