Borderlands 4 players currently have one brand-new SHiFT code to redeem until November 11. The latest Borderlands 4 SHiFT code can be redeemed either on the SHiFT website or in-game for three Golden Keys.
There are four Golden Chests around Kairos in Borderlands 4, which can only be opened by using Golden Keys. These Golden Keys are acquired by redeeming SHiFT codes, a reward system that Gearbox has used to hand out in-game rewards for years now. Opening these chests often rewards Legendary loot in Borderlands 4, which is great for those wanting a quick upgrade to their build. Other players choose to hoard Golden Keys for a future build, as they remain tied to their account once redeemed.

Gearbox CEO posted the following new Borderlands 4 SHiFT code over on X: B9RJJ-B5W9J-5XTJ5-J333J-653CZ. Players can redeem this with a linked account over on the SHiFT website, or in-game via the SHiFT menu. Unlike most recent SHiFT codes, which only offered one key each, this particular code offers three Golden Keys to use in-game, although it is set to expire on November 11.
Gearbox hasn’t exactly made players wait too long for new SHiFT codes following Borderlands 4‘s release, so those who miss out on this particular code shouldn’t worry too much. It’s likely the next one is just around the corner, regardless. And while the codes themselves have an expiry date, the Golden Keys do not, so even players in between Borderlands 4 characters should redeem these codes while they’re active. That way, they have tons of keys to redeem for loot when they start their next build.

While players enjoy free goodies via new SHiFT codes, Gearbox continues to work on improving Borderlands 4.
