World of Warcraft Reveals January 2026 Trading Post Rewards

On December 22, World of Warcraft revealed the rewards that players can earn throughout January on the Trading Post, including several cosmetic rewards adorned in red and gold patterns that may appeal to Paladin and Priest players in particular. The upcoming World of Warcraft Trading Post offers were posted ahead of Christmas, giving players some additional time to plan out what rewards to claim throughout January.

As one of the features introduced during the Dragonflight expansion, the Trading Post gives active World of Warcraft players a way to earn some exclusive cosmetic rewards just from playing the game in different ways. The rewards rotate on a monthly basis, though some have returned in Trading Post offers posted months afterward. WoW subscribers can earn Trader’s Tenders by filling out the Traveler’s Log, which can be done by completing quests, defeating dungeon and raid bosses, and participating in seasonal events. Throughout December 2025, World of Warcraft‘s Trading Post rewards were themed around the Feast of Winter Veil, which is Azeroth’s take on Christmas. However, players looking to claim a reward from December’s Trading Post will have just a few more days at the time of this writing to get what they want before the month ends.

Although the 2025 Feast of Winter Veil is still ongoing across World of Warcraft, Blizzard gave fans an early look at what to expect in the first Trading Post window of 2026. Once the new year arrives, players will have some new cosmetics to add to their growing collections. The main bonus reward for earning 1,000 Traveler’s Log points from January 1 to 31 is the Vengeful Regalia of the Crusader ensemble set. This red and gold full suit of armor may appeal to Paladin and Priest players due to the set’s Light-based aesthetics. Most of the upcoming Trading Post offers follow suit, as various weapon appearances that will be available in January also carry a red and gold color palette. These rewards include the Crusader’s Ruby Mace, the Thalassian Recruit’s Bow, and the Crest of Unending Woe.

The most expensive item of WoW‘s January 2026 Trading Post reward slate is the Brilliant Sunburst Peafowl, a flying mount with blazing plumage that costs 750 Trader’s Tenders. Following that is the Golden Clockwork Attire ensemble set at 650 Tenders, and the Savage Crimson Battle Turtle ground mount at 500 Tenders. Since World of Warcraft players can only earn a limited amount of Trader’s Tenders per month, activities like Legion Remix may be worthwhile ventures for players to consider as a way to quickly get the currency needed for these limited-time cosmetic rewards.

January 2026 Will Be A Busy Time In Azeroth

The red and gold color scheme of the January 2026 Trading Post rewards is similar to the primary colors of Silvermoon City, the main player hub of WoW‘s upcoming Midnight expansion. As the second chapter of the Worldsoul Saga story arc, World of Warcraft: Midnight will focus on the clash between the Light and the Void. The blood elves’ home of Silvermoon City, and the font of power known as the Sunwell, will serve as Midnight‘s first battlegrounds. Midnight‘s pre-expansion patch will launch on January 20, following server maintenance. The update will include various class changes and adjustments for players to adjust to ahead of World of Warcraft: Midnight‘s March 2 launch.

Additionally, the ongoing Turbulent Timeways event will give WoW players a way to get Trader’s Tenders and quickly level alternate characters to the current level cap of 80. All in all, the first month of 2026 may be one of the best times to jump back into World of Warcraft and prepare for the Midnight expansion’s imminent arrival.
