How to Get Roaming Oak Timber in Heartopia

There are dozens of resources to collect in Heartopia, and they’re absolutely necessary, as they are required to craft, build, and cook. Players will find resources just about anywhere on the map, but some will be much harder to come by due to being rare.

How to Sell Fish in Heartopia

You’ll learn how to fish pretty early on in Heartopia, but if you want to make extra money, selling your catches is a must.

There are several types of wood in Heartopia, and Roaming Oak Timber is one of them. However, players will quickly learn that they won’t be able to obtain this wood as easily as others. Roaming Oak Timber is one of the rarest types of timber in Heartopia, as it can only be harvested once per day. This guide tells players how they can get their hands on Roaming Oak Timber in Heartopia.

How to Find Oak-Oak in Heartopia

Roaming Oak Timber isn’t available from the get-go in Heartopia. It will only become available once players begin “Astralis in Forest” – a main story mission that players unlock after finishing 10 Daily Resident Requests.

Players will have to speak to a couple of backpackers and bring them pieces of wood, like timber and branches, in order to get clues on Cassie’s whereabouts, a town ranger. Near Jump Puzzle, Cassie will give players various challenges that require them to find hidden bubbles around the woods. For the final challenge, they’ll be expected to solve a riddle and locate Oak-Oak.

The riddle goes like this: “Cross the lonely bridge, step into the forest’s heart. Between two teardrops’ gleam, my energetic friend is trapped in hardship.” She requests that the play find it, set it free, and bring back proof of their discovery. Players will find Oak-Oak across the bridge that they walked through to find Cassie. They must hit it with their pickaxe in order to get rid of the oak and free it.

Roaming Oak Timber is so rare because there is only one ancient oak left in Heartopia, and that’s Oak-Oak. Every day, it becomes trapped by its root and requires help to be set free once again. Players can return once a day to help it and collect more Roaming Oak Timber.

Since Oak-Oak’s roots grow back daily, it cannot venture too far beyond the Jump Puzzle area. Each day, players must look closely near the wooden area in Heartopia and attempt to locate it.

Players will only be able to collect a couple of Roaming Oak Timber per day in Heartopia. They can redeem the code “h9q3a7m5” to obtain free pieces of Roaming Oak Timber. However, this won’t leave them with much Roaming Oak Timber in their inventory. Alternatively, they can visit the Acorn Store, open the Rare Collectible tab, and purchase Roaming Oak Timber for 20 Moonlight Crystals a piece. There are several codes in Heartopia that grant free Moonlight Crystals, so this is a somewhat easy way to top up their Roaming Oak Tree inventory.
