Pokemon GO Reveals Community Day Dates for March, April, and May 2026

Pokemon GO Reveals Community Day Dates for March, April, and May 2026

Pokemon GO has revealed when the Community Day events will take place in the game’s next season, giving players four dates to mark down on their calendars. While Pokemon GO’s current season, Precious Paths, still has some events for players to look forward to, including a Community Day of its own, the end is on the horizon.

With every season of the mobile augmented reality game, Community Day events are held. These Pokemon GO events, which usually take place on a single day, give players much better odds of getting a specific Pokemon. In addition, the featured critter has an increased chance of being shiny, making Community Days even more enticing for some fans. So far, 2026 has already had one Community Day and Community Day Classic, but more are on the way.

Pokemon GO Reveals Featured Pokemon for Upcoming Shadow Raid Day

Pokemon GO reveals details on its next Shadow Raid event, including bonuses, rewards, as well as the featured legendary Team GO Rocket Shadow Pokemon.

Ahead of the release of Pokemon GO’s next season, Scopely has announced the dates for upcoming Community Day events. According to the developer, the dates are March 14, April 11, May 9, and May 16. It is worth noting that the final date is for a Community Day Classic, giving players the chance to take part in a repeat event they might have missed. The featured creatures for these events have yet to be revealed, so players will need to stay tuned for future updates from Scopely as the next season approaches.

  • Saturday, March 28, 2026 (Max Battle Day)
  • Saturday, April 4, 2026 (Raid Day)
  • Saturday, April 18, 2026 (Hatch Day)
  • Saturday, April 25, 2026 (Max Battle Day)
  • Saturday, May 2, 2026 (Shadow Raid Day)
  • Saturday, May 23, 2026 (Raid Day)

Beyond these Community Day dates, a list of other Pokemon GO events coming in the next season was unveiled. Specifically, a yet-to-be-named season event will take place from March 7-9, followed by a Research Day on March 21 and a Max Battle Day on March 28. After March ends, players can look forward to a Raid Day on April 4, a Hatch Day on April 18, a Max Battle Day on April 25, a Shadow Raid Day on May 2, and another Raid Day on May 23. There will likely be even more events taking place throughout the season for players to participate in, but these were the only dates revealed.

These new details for Pokemon GO’s next season come as players have already enjoyed several events in 2026. Despite the year just getting underway, a Community Day Classic featuring Piplup happened on January 4, giving players an improved chance to catch the Water-type Pokemon. Furthermore, Pokemon GO hosted its first Community Day of the year on January 18. This single-day event gave players the opportunity to encounter Grookey.

While Pokemon GO has regular Community Days, the game often hosts longer events as well. For example, the game recently finished up the High Zaptitude event, which gave players an increased chance to get a Shiny Tadbulb. Additionally, Pokemon GO has two more events planned for the end of January: Precious Pals and Into the Depths. The former begins on January 20, bringing Shiny Fidough to the game, while the latter introduces Gen 9 Pokemon Glimmet on January 27.

Despite it only being January, Pokemon GO players already have a lot to look forward to in 2026. It will be interesting to see which new creatures are added to the game this year. While Pokemon GO has started to run low on possible additions, there are still quite a few options from Gen 9 available. In addition, Gen 10 could be released this year, which would likely increase the pool from which Scopely could draw for new pocket monsters. Regardless, these upcoming Community Days could give players a good opportunity to get some Pokemon that they have wanted to collect for a while.
