Apple AirTag 2 Launch Makes the First-Gen Tracker Way Cheaper, With the 4-Pack Now Costing Less Per Unit Than Buying One

The Apple AirTag 4-Pack features four small Bluetooth-enabled tracking devices that automatically connect to your compatible iPhone or iPad via the Find My app. Designate an item to track, and the tag stays linked to that item until you remove it. If you misplace something, view its location on a map, use the Ping feature to play a sound, or allow others to help locate it with the Share function. These extremely compact tracking devices easily conceal in small pockets, loops, or sleeves while you carry your belongings.

For a limited time, Amazon is offering the Apple AirTag 4-Pack for just $70, which is a $29 reduction, or 29% off, from the original price of $99.

An affordable smart tracker that’s perfect for iOS users

These tracking devices integrate directly with the Find My app, allowing you to track AirTags just as you would your iPhone, iPad, or MacBook. Assign each AirTag a name based on the item it attaches to, and view each AirTag on the map with its corresponding name and icon, making it easy to identify what you want to locate. You can use AirTags to track many types of items, including attaching them to purses, backpacks, or keychains with additional accessories, or hiding them inside a pocket or pouch. If multiple people need access, you can share the AirTag with them via the Find My app.

Once you determine an item’s general location, use precision tools to quickly find it. On compatible iPhone models with an ultra-wideband chip, Precision Finding provides on-screen arrows, distance indicators, and haptic feedback to guide you to the AirTag. The built-in speaker plays a sound that helps you locate the item, even if it’s buried under couch cushions or mixed in with other belongings.

If an item moves out of Bluetooth range, you can locate the AirTag using the broader Find My network of Apple devices. When you mark an AirTag as missing, nearby Apple devices anonymously report its approximate location without revealing any personal information. Activate Lost Mode to receive notifications when someone detects your AirTag, and include a contact number so a finder can reach you by scanning the AirTag with an NFC-enabled phone.

Apple designed the AirTag to be durable and reliable so you can use it daily without concern. It runs on a user-replaceable CR2032 coin-cell battery that usually lasts over a year, eliminating the need for proprietary charging. The AirTag holds an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, providing peace of mind when you store it in bags exposed to the elements or near a drink bottle. Ensure your device runs the latest version of Apple’s operating system to maintain compatibility. At $70 for a four-pack, reduced from $99, you receive robust tracking tools and seamless integration with the Find My network at a meaningful discount.
