Pokopia Player Discovers Genius Use for Balloons

A Pokemon Pokopia fan has discovered a clever use for the game’s Balloons, decorating power blocks suspended in midair to look like they are floating. The unique use of balloons serves to spruce up connecting the power grid between the islands of Pokopia‘s Sparkling Skylands.

The newest spinoff of the long-running monster-catching franchise gives fans a variety of ways to customize their in-game villages. The game features fully customizable environments similar to games like Minecraft, with fans able to remodel Pokopia‘s villages using plenty of different blocks. The sandbox game also includes an electricity system players can use to power their village, including windmills, water wheels, and generators for fans for running electrical devices. Now, one fan has come up with a unique way to decorate the power grids for the game’s final village.

A glitch with Relocation Kits in Pokemon Pokopia was thought to be a soft lock at first, but a player has confirmed that things turned out fine.

Pokopia Fan Has Unique Idea for Balloons

Reddit user a-l-e-x-t-o-p-i-a showed off their interesting idea for the game’s wireless power blocks on the Pokopia subreddit. The image included in the post shows one of the wireless power transmitters in Pokopia suspended in the air between the Sparkling Skylands’ floating islands, with a set of balloons attached to the block. While the power block remains even without the decoration, the balloons give the illusion of the transmitter floating in the air between the islands. The creator also shared an interesting idea for adding more wireless power transmitters across the gap, placing the blocks at different heights.

The clever Pokopia decoration was a hit with fans in the comments. One fan compared the appearance of the floating wireless power transmitters to the gift balloons in Animal Crossing, which feature a wrapped present hanging from a balloon. Another fan joked about the effect of wind on the power setup, teasing that strong winds could cause the transmitter to blow away. One fan raised concerns about how effective the Pokopia power grid would be for the Sparkling Skylands, suggesting that the project would take a substantial amount of resources to build the necessary power sources and transmitters.

Pokopia offers a multitude of uses for its electrical system, for both decorative and practical uses. Pokopia‘s electricity helps to power many of its more advanced decorations, including items like gaming PCs, arcade machines, and small stages, among others. Electricity can also be used to power both streetlamps and indoor lighting, allowing players to illuminate their villages and fulfill Pokemon requests to make their habitats brighter.

Omega Force and The Pokemon Company have given fans lots to do in the game since its release, with multiple events. Pokopia is gearing up to launch its next in-game event centered around Sableye on April 29, tasking players with collecting red crystal fragments from Cloud Islands to trade for exclusive rewards. The game also recently concluded the Bulbasaur’s Jump Rope Contest event, though players can still replay the event by changing the system time on their Nintendo Switch 2. Pokopia is primed to keep its early momentum going well into the future, offering plenty to keep fans coming back.
