Each customer brings a unique encounter and deeper lore, which is shared with the player through text-based dialogue.
As for the gameplay, D1AL-ogue revolves around a circular puzzle system referred to as the D1AL. Players rotate different sections of the circle to align modules of the same color, but careful planning is required since the device runs on a battery that can overheat. On top of that, E.V.E.s need synthesized units placed in specific parts of their core, meaning simply matching same-color tiles is not enough to solve each puzzle.
