Next Switch 2 Treehouse Live Briefing Announced: Start Time, How To Watch, And What To Expect

Nintendo has not one but two livestreams planned for the week, and the first one will be focused on Pokemon Pokopia and a new look at the Meetup in Bellabel Park expansion for Super Mario Bros. Wonder. The new Nintendo Treehouse presentation kicks off on February 24 and will have plenty of gameplay. On February 27, you can also tune in for a new Pokemon Presents broadcast.

How to watch the Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation

As always, you can catch the livestream through the official Nintendo YouTube channel.

Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation start time

The Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation will go live on February 23 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET, and it will run for roughly 80 minutes.

  • 10 AM BST (February 24)
  • 6 AM JST (February 24)

What to expect

An 80-minute livestream gives Nintendo plenty of room to show off its games in great detail. Pokemon Pokopia sees the franchise venture into the crafting space dominated by Minecraft–but with some Dragon Quest builders and Viva Piñata DNA inserted into the mix–and we’re expecting to see more of the various systems in play and a closer look at unique Pokemon like the ghostly Peakychu.

With the Super Mario Galaxy movie out soon, Nintendo is looking to celebrate the release with a brand-new expansion for 2023’s Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Not only does the game get a big graphical upgrade for Switch 2 consoles, but the Meetup at Bellabel Park expansion also adds 17 multiplayer minigames, GameShare support, eight-player local wireless play, and makes Rosalina a playable character.

Nintendo will probably show off more of these minigames in detail, and the expansion launches on March 26. The Switch 2 version with all this new content costs $80 and is available to preorder, but if you already own Super Mario Bros. Wonder, you can upgrade it for $20.
