ARC Raiders Cheaters Have Discovered Another Exploit, and Players Are Fed Up

ARC Raiders Cheaters Have Discovered Another Exploit, and Players Are Fed Up

ARC Raiders cheaters have now discovered a way to spawn in their very own Raider Hatches wherever they want, allowing them to extract immediately and keep all of their gear. This is just the latest type of cheat to go viral among the ARC Raiders community, and players are rightly calling on Embark to address the issue as soon as possible, with many calling it “unacceptable.”

After finding huge success last year, even picking up an award for Best Multiplayer at the 2025 Game Awards, it’s no surprise that ARC Raiders has attracted the attention of numerous cheat providers. Plenty of other popular shooters, including Call of Duty, Battlefield, Apex Legends, and many more, often find themselves in ongoing wars with cheaters and hackers, but the ARC Raiders community is growing tired of Embark’s nonchalant approach to the matter. While the studio has said it has implemented significant changes to its ruleset to detect and remove cheaters, Embark also has a three-strike rule that many believe is extremely lenient. This allows cheaters to be caught three times before being permanently banned, with the first two bans being temporary.

Arc Raiders’ Arcs Aren’t Actually Getting Tougher (But They Will)

Embark confirmed that ARCs in ARC Raiders aren’t getting tougher, but design lead Virgil Watkins hinted future difficulty increases might be coming.

ARC Raiders Cheaters Can Now Spawn Raider Hatches Wherever They Want

Whether it’s exploits, glitches, or hackers, there seems to be something new nearly every single week in ARC Raiders. Over the weekend, a TikTok post went viral among the community as it showcased a hacker using a new method to spawn in their very own Raider Hatch and extract immediately after being downed. This video then made its way onto Reddit, where the ARC Raiders community is once again questioning why these types of cheaters are not being permanently banned from the game. “I’ve never seen a game where you can just openly brag about hacking and get no form of repercussion,” one user said.

Many others called out Embark for its strict approach to the recent duplication glitch in ARC Raiders, which inflated the in-game economy as players duplicated items such as Rubber Ducks to then sell for currency, but its rather whimsical take on illegitimate players using hacks to gain an advantage over other players. “[Embark’s] ban policy and code are the worst of all the games I’ve ever played,” one player responded. Another said the rampant cheating issues are “unacceptable.”

Embark has received tons of backlash for its three-strike ban system, but it has yet to comment on whether it will enforce a stricter policy in the future. Earlier this month, the studio attempted to crack down on cheaters in ARC Raiders even further by making some big changes to Steam Family Sharing. As of February 4, 2026, anybody caught cheating in ARC Raiders will have their ban span across all accounts tied to the one license. This means anybody who is sharing their copy of ARC Raiders with friends or family via Steam Family Sharing will also suffer the same consequences.

Although Embark’s newest shooter has retained much of its playerbase since its launch last year, ARC Raiders‘ player count has begun to fall, at least on Steam. The game still has very positive user reviews on the platform, but its declining player count could be due to the constant game-breaking exploits and hackers. Running into cheaters seems to be a regular occurrence for PC players, but even console users are having to put up with exploits, such as the out-of-bounds glitch that was present on Stella Montis for weeks before being fixed, or the recent duplication glitch that saw players spamming Trigger Nades in every single Raid. With Marathon on the horizon, Embark will need to act fast if it doesn’t want much of its community to jump ship.
