Prime Gaming Reveals 12 Free Games For April 2026

Amazon Prime Gaming users will have 12 free PC games to add to their digital game collections throughout April. Along with the free PC games that will become available throughout the month, Amazon Prime users can also stream an additional eight PC games, such as The Jackbox Party Pack 2, via Amazon Luna.

Each Thursday, Amazon Prime subscribers can claim some PC games that can then be downloaded and installed on desktop apps like the Amazon Games app, the Epic Games Store, or GOG Galaxy. Along with the free PC game downloads on these storefronts, Amazon Prime subscribers also have access to Amazon Luna’s Standard game selection, with new games available periodically at no additional cost. All games that are claimed during an Amazon Prime window will continue to be available even if a user has to pause their monthly subscription. March’s Prime Gaming freebies included 13 titles, such as Turmoil, Total War: Three Kingdoms, and Siege of Avalon.

While 12 free PC games will be available via Amazon Luna to Prime subscribers throughout April, two of these titles can now be claimed at no added cost. Fans of the strategy game genre are in luck this week, as XCOM: Enemy Unknown Complete Pack and Total War: Pharaoh Dynasties can now be claimed and downloaded, respectively, via GOG and the Epic Games Store. Despite its notorious difficulty and snowballing game mechanics, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is considered a quintessential strategy title that every gamer should try out. Along with the base game, Amazon Luna subscribers can also play through the XCOM: Enemy Within expansion as part of the free deal. By comparison, strategy gamers who are looking to control massive armies should check out Total War: Pharaoh Dynasties, the enhanced version of Total War: Pharaoh. Initially released in July 2024 as a free update to Total War: Pharaoh, Dynasties adds new factions and units for players to pick from, with an expanded map to conquer.

CHECK OUT OTHER AMAZON PRIME BENEFITS RIGHT HERE!

The surprises do not stop there, as two different titles will be available to download on Amazon Luna starting next Thursday, April 9. King of Retail is a management simulator that allows players to build up and maintain the retail empire of their dreams, with various goods and shop sizes to choose from. Additionally, users looking for a new 3D platformer with a unique art style can check out the opening season of A Rat’s Quest: The Way Back Home. What makes A Rat’s Quest: The Way Back Home stand out from the other Amazon Luna offers this month is that the game launches on Friday, April 3. Ergo, A Rat’s Quest will make its Amazon Luna debut just six days after release.

The latter half of April is back-loaded with the rest of Amazon Luna’s free offers for the month. Detective Agency: Gray Tie Collector’s Edition, Monster Harvest, and Snake Core will each be available starting April 16. Two more games will be available as GOG codes starting April 23, as gamers can add the survival strategy game The Pale Beyond and the futuristic narrative title Neo Cab to their collections. Finally, April 30 will add the last three Amazon Luna free downloads of the month, with KinnikuNeko: Super Muscle Cat, Pinball Spire, and Fantasy General joining the list.
