Developer Shift Up and publisher Level Infinite have confirmed a special livestream for Goddess of Victory: Nikke‘s 3.5 anniversary update is taking place on April 18. Already the developer, who is also working on a Stellar Blade sequel, has teased some of the content coming in the update, while fans have also compiled many rumors, leaks, and theories. The end result hopefully means that setting an alarm or staying up late for Goddess of Victory: Nikke is worth it.
Of course, this isn’t the first rodeo for players, with previous Goddess of Victory: Nikke livestreams (as well as announcements) giving fans some idea of what to expect from the event. There will no doubt be new Nikke characters, new in-game rewards, and a brand major global campaign to celebrate the latest milestone.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke 3.5 Anniversary Livestream

The Goddess of Victory: Nikke 3.5 Anniversary update is expected to introduce new story chapters, characters, costumes, and limited-time events when it releases. The Livestream will confirm its release date, at the very least, but fans are expecting it to begin on April 22. Otherwise, Shift Up has shared only the briefest of details like a new story event titled “Your Cheers, Their Path.” It is believed that Anis and Neon will play a role in this event, and that players will receive upgraded versions of these characters in the update.
Other additions could include, but are not confirmed to be, new mini-games, new costumes, new boss battles, and new cosmetic rewards. The Stream will also reveal the results of the fourth annual Nikke Global Popularity Poll, with the top 5 Nikkes receiving special rewards. The 1st place winner will also receive a new costume and theme song. And obviously, there’s no accounting for possible surprises, as who knows what Shift Up has hidden up its sleeve. What is known is that the Shift Up CEO believes in giving every game its due, whether that’s Stellar Blade 2 or Goddess of Victory: Nikke, and it’s unlikely the developers show up lacking for the anniversary.
The 3.5th anniversary is obviously a major milestone for Goddess of Victory: Nikke. There are plenty of gacha games on the market, many which struggle to ever get off the ground. Competing against MiHoyo’s gameography, which includes major and beloved games like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and the Honkai series, is no easy feat in what is a demanding niche. Goddess of Victory: Nikke hasn’t really struggled, however, reporting over 45 million downloads since release.
