Rare Fortnite Skins Return to the Item Shop After More Than 4-Year Absence

Rare Fortnite Skins Return to the Item Shop After More Than 4-Year Absence

The Lok-Bot and Robo-Ray skins have finally returned to Fortnite. These rather rare skins were introduced all the way back in 2021, and they hadn’t been seen in Fortnite again until today.

A live-service juggernaut, Fortnite is arguably best known for its plethora of crossover skins, with the game collaborating frequently with high-profile franchises like Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and countless others. That said, the popularity of Fortnite‘s original skins shouldn’t be overlooked. There are a ton of original Fortnite skins that aren’t based on any pre-existing IP that have become some of the game’s most sought-after cosmetics. Many of these coveted skins are also quite rare, as they’ve often only appeared in the game once or twice before, usually many years ago. That’s the case with Lok-Bot and Robo-Ray, who have finally made their triumphant return.

Three new LEGO Fortnite sets leak online in official-looking product images, which seemingly confirm all of them will include bonus in-game cosmetics.

Lok-Bot and Robo-Ray Return to Fortnite

First spotted by Fortnite leaker Shiina and shared via a Twitter post, Fortnite‘s Lok-Bot and Robo-Ray skins have finally returned to the Item Shop. As Shiina points out in their post, it’s been around five years since these skins were last seen, with Robo-Ray debuting in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 6 in April 2021, and Lok-Bot initially releasing a few months later in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 7 in June 2021. Neither Lok-Bot nor Robo-Ray have been re-added to Fortnite‘s Item Shop in the years since their respective debuts.

Following Shiina’s link to the Fortnite Item Shop will present these two long-awaited skins in all their glory. For 1,500 V-Bucks, players can once again get their hands on the Robo-Ray Bundle. Just like in April 2021, this bundle includes the Robo-Ray skin, a Ray’s Smasher Pickaxe, and a BluGlo Injector Back Bling. According to the Item Shop listing, the Robo-Ray Bundle will be available to purchase until April 25, 2026 at 1am local time. Those just wanting the Robo-Ray skin can purchase it separately for 1,200 V-Bucks. Interestingly, the 1,200 V-Bucks Robo-Ray skin also comes with the BluGlo Injector Back Bling, meaning that those who purchase the bundle are only getting a Pickaxe with their extra 300 V-Bucks.

Fortnite‘s Lok-Bot Pack follows very closely in Robo-Ray’s footsteps. This bundle also has a price tag of 1,500 V-Bucks and comes with three cosmetics: the Lok-Bot skin, the Lok Block Back Bling, and the Lok Pick Pickaxe. Just like Robo-Ray, the Lok-Bot skin can be purchased separately and comes with the Lok Block Back Bling included, meaning that those who purchase the full bundle are essentially getting the Pickaxe for 300 V-Bucks instead of its standalone price of 800. Fortnite‘s Lok-Bot bundle is also available until April 25, 2026 at 1am local time.

On top of these returning fan-favorites, Fortnite‘s Item Shop is currently home to a wealth of WWE-themed skins, bringing icons like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Liv Morgan, the Undertaker, and Cody Rhodes to the game. A handful of DC Fortnite skins have also returned, including the Batman Zero, Catwoman Zero, and Deathstroke Zero bundles. These skins are accompanied by the Batmobile 1989 bundle, which makes its return just seven months after its debut.
