All Compass Locations & How to Use Them in Splatoon Raiders

There are 24 Old Compasses in Splatoon Raiders that are used to locate Sampler Dungeons that award Skill Points upon completion. Twenty-one of those compasses are obtained by breaking blue crates hidden in stages, while the final three are earned by beating three buried ruins on Super Spicy. Compasses in Splatoon Raiders come in blue, orange, and yellow variants, and they each behave in different ways.

You can see if you’ve collected a stage’s Old Compass by selecting it on the map and looking in the top-right corner of the image that appears. A green checkmark appears on the compass icon if it has been collected.

            How to Use Blue Compass

Blue compasses fill with blue when you move your cursor in the direction of the associated Sampler Dungeon, and they react most obviously when you move your cursor quickly by holding the left joystick all the way in a direction. Here’s how to find a Sampler Dungeon using a blue compass:

            1. Zoom out to mid-zoom on the map.
            2. Move your cursor to the left side of the map, and hold the left joystick all the way to the right. The compass should now fill entirely with blue.
            3. Stop holding the joystick as soon as the blue in the compass disappears. You’ve just passed the dungeon’s horizontal position.
            4. Now, hold the left joystick all the way down.
            5. If the compass fills with blue, continue holding down. Stop when the blue disappears.
            6. If the compass does not fill with blue when holding down, hold the joystick up. Stop holding up when the blue disappears.
            7. You are now in the approximate area of the dungeon. Make small adjustments with the left joystick until the A input appears on the cursor. Press the input to access the dungeon.

            How to Use Orange Compass

Orange compasses fill with orange as you get closer to the associated Sampler Dungeon. Continue to move in directions that fill the compass until the A input appears on the cursor, and then press that input to enter the dungeon.

            How to Use Yellow Compass

The needle on a yellow compass points toward the associated Sampler Dungeon. Move in the directions indicated by the needle until the A input appears on the cursor. Press A to access the dungeon.
