Arc Raiders sends you on a handful of quests seeking out evidence of survivors, including A Warm Place to Rest. In this quest, you’ll have to find any signs that raiders have survived topside near the Abandoned Highway Camp in Buried City. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about this quest and how to complete it in this guide.
You don’t need to extract to complete A Warm Place to Rest, but you will be trekking across the entire Buried City map to complete the objectives. With this in mind, a free loadout may not be your best bet, as you’re rather likely to encounter raiders or ARC, which means you’ll probably need extra healing items. It’s your choice, of course, but we’d recommend bringing a decent gun or two, and enough heals to keep you trucking along safely.
When you’re ready to finish A Warm Place to Rest, follow the steps below.
Locate the Abandoned Highway Camp
The Abandoned Highway Camp is located on the Buried City map just southeast of the Grandioso Apartments. Head onto the highway and look for a collection of buses.

When you arrive at the Abandoned Highway Camp, you’ll be prompted to find any signs of survivors.
Search for any signs of survivors
Approach one of the buses to find a pack on the ground beside it.
Interact with this pack to trigger an objective that asks you to follow red markers.
Follow the red markers
These red markers in the sand can lead you across the entire map to the final objective of the quest. However, following these is not a necessary step if you already know where to find the objective. Given the tedious nature of following them, we’d recommend you just check below for the location of the grave on the far eastern side of the map, as that’s where you’ll need to go to wrap things up.
Once you arrive at this location in the Buried Properties, you’ll be given the objective to inspect the nearby grave.
Inspect the grave
Amidst the rubble of this building is the grave you need to inspect.
Once you’ve interacted with the grave, you’ll be free to head back to Speranza at your convenience.
