Later quests in Arc Raiders tend to have multiple steps, and Dust on the Wires is one of the most substantial. Though it’s a fairly easy quest to complete, you’ll want to be prepared for a good bit of running around on Spaceport.
Dust on the Wires contains an item you’ll need to extract back to Speranza with, so we’d strongly recommend that you bring an augment sporting a safe pocket to ensure you can safely get it home even if you’re killed.
When you’re ready to complete Dust on the Wires, follow the steps below.
Visit any field depot on the eastern side of the Spaceport
There are multiple field depots on the eastern side of Spaceport. We recommend going to the one below, however, as it will put you in closer proximity to the steps that follow.
When you arrive, head inside the field depot.
Use the field radio to transmit the scout group’s last log to Shani
Once inside the field depot, you’ll need to find the field radio, which is located on the only desk in this tiny building.
Interact with the field radio to resend the log and update your quest.
Interact with the terminal in the old Raider Tower north of the Maintenance Hangar
Next, you’ll need to make your way to a terminal located inside a Raider Tower north of the Maintenance Hangar.
Go to the location on the map above, then keep an eye out for this tower.
At the top of the tower, interact with the terminal.
You’ll now be given a new step in the quest.
Find traces of the scout patrols near the Maintenance Hangar
You’ll now need to find traces of scout patrols, which are not far from your current location. Simply head to the southwest corner of the outside of the Maintenance Hangar building to see the traces of these patrols on the ground.
Interact with the prompt here to transmit the location.
Your quest will update once again.
Search the remains left by the scouts
In this same area, you’ll find the remains left by the scouts only a few steps away.
Interact with the prompt here to drop the Scout Patrol Note. Be sure to pick it up.
Deliver the Scout Patrol Note to Shani
With the Scout Patrol Note in hand, toss it in your safe pocket (if you have an augment that lets you), then make your way to the closest extraction point. When you arrive in Speranza, have a chat with Shani to wrap up this quest.
