ARC Raiders Reveals Patch Notes for March 24 Update

Ahead of the shooter’s big Flashpoint update next week, developer Embark Studios has rolled out a new ARC Raiders patch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 24. The latest ARC Raiders update doesn’t make any significant changes or add any new content to the game, but it does bring new cosmetic items and some important fixes that should improve players’ overall experience when they head Topside.

With March quickly coming to a close, many ARC Raiders fans are patiently waiting to jump into this month’s big content update, known officially as Flashpoint. The free patch will be released on March 31 and will be the third of four updates coming to the game in the first half of 2026. Earlier this year, Embark revealed its plans for ARC Raiders with a 2026 roadmap, detailing every major update between January and April. It’s unclear if the studio has any intention of revealing a second roadmap once April’s Riven Tides patch has been deployed, but players do still have plenty to look forward to in the meantime.

ARC Raiders Devs Are Prioritizing Pure Discovery Over The Standard Shooter Experience

The team behind ARC Raiders currently prioritizes world discovery and adventure as they move away from the usual focus on action and shooting.

ARC Raiders Releases Update 1.21.0

Embark has already begun teasing ARC Raiders‘ big Flashpoint update for next week, but the studio is now tiding fans over with a brand-new patch that can be downloaded on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC right now. Update 1.21.0 doesn’t include much to write home about, but it does include some new cosmetic items for players to purchase, including a new Raider Tool and Backpack set. There are also a handful of fixes, including one for a crash that would sometimes occur with DirectX 11, a fix for an issue that was causing players to get stuck inside the Harvester between destroyed ARC parts, a fix for an exploit that allowed players to walk through walls when holding a Fuel Cell or Field Crate, and more.

The team also touched upon next week’s big content update, saying it is currently hard at work on getting the patch ready for its March 31 release date. As of writing, not much is known about the update, but Embark did recently tease fans with a short video that seemingly confirmed the deadly Shredder will be making its way to another ARC Raiders map. The caption for the video reveals that “someone forgot to the close the Stella Montis doors on their way out,” with the accompanying video showing the underground tunnels of Blue Gate. Although merely a teaser, it seems as though next week’s Flashpoint update will see the Shredder also become available on Blue Gate, finally leaving the confines of Stella Montis.

Flashpoint is set to arrive a little over a month after ARC Raiders‘ big Shrouded Sky update, which once again added tons of new content to the shooter. Embark added a new Hurricane Map Condition, which comes with some deadly new weather effects for players to battle against, as well as two new ARC enemies: the Firefly and Comet, the former of which has already become the third most deadly ARC in the game. Shrouded Sky also saw the debut of a new Raider Deck, Facial Hair customization, a new location on Dam Battlegrounds, and more.

What many are most excited for, however, is April’s big Riven Tides update. According to the official 2026 roadmap, next month’s patch will see a brand-new map and a new large ARC enemy added to ARC Raiders. There has already been tons of speculation about what the next map and ARC enemy could look like, with early development footage showing off a large flying ARC enemy, leading many to believe this will be the next threat after the Queen and Matriarch.

ARC Raiders Update 1.21.0 Patch Notes for March 24

  • New Backpack set.
  • Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur with DirectX 11.
  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck inside the Harvester and between destroyed ARC parts.
