ARC Raiders developer Embark Studios has released another new patch for its hit extraction shooter, which arrives just one week after the release of the big Flashpoint update. The latest ARC Raiders update brings the title to version 1.23.0 with several improvements, adjustments, and fixes, and is available to download right now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
With the ARC Raiders Flashpoint update going live last week, Embark is now nearing the end of what is, presumably, part one of the game’s 2026 roadmap. After a massively successful release late last year, even picking up the Best Multiplayer award at the 2025 Game Awards, Embark kicked off the new year with a fresh roadmap, detailing four major content updates releasing between January and April. The first, known as Headwinds, brought a new map condition exclusive to Buried City, a controversial 1v3 matchmaking system, and more. Then, in February, Shrouded Sky arrived, with new ARC threats and a deadly Hurricane map condition. If that wasn’t enough, Flashpoint brought even more content to the game on March 31, but now Embark is back to fix some issues that arose from the last patch.
New ARC Raiders Trials for April 6 Might Include the Hardest Challenge to Date
Embark Studios reveals a new set of ARC Raiders Trials for April 6 – 12, with one challenge in particular possibly being the most difficult one yet.
ARC Raiders Releases 1.23.0 Update
Last week’s big Flashpoint update brought tons of new content to ARC Raiders, including the terrifying new Vaporizer ARC, an insanely difficult Close Scrutiny map condition, some new cosmetics, new Scrappy features, and more. However, as is the case with most updates for live service titles, Flashpoint also introduced some new issues and bugs to ARC Raiders. Thankfully, a new update for the game is now available, bringing ARC Raiders to version 1.23.0 with plenty of fixes and improvements.
After Embark delayed the new ARC Raiders update from its planned release date of April 7, patch 1.23.0 is live now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. According to the official patch notes, which can be found further down this article, the update includes the new Vanguard cosmetic set and also tons of new bug fixes. Embark says it has addressed an issue pertaining to Trigger Nades, which would sometimes deal three times the damage when detonated next to each other. The latest patch has also fixed an issue that would cause items to not be used as soon as possible when holding fire and swapping to them, and addressed a problem where weapons were firing automatically, something fans were becoming rather irritated about.
Fans will be pleased to know that Embark has also adjusted the audio of the Rocketeer after it was unexpectedly changed in ARC Raiders‘ Flashpoint update. Many believed the change was intentional, but the patch notes for update 1.23.0 state that this was a bug that has now been fixed. Other adjustments include changes to the movement speed of Rocketeers and Vaporizers so they don’t behave strangely while idling, a fix for another Stella Montis bug that was causing players to be shot through the floor, and a fix for the weapon upgrade UI incorrectly suggesting a weapon could be upgraded to level five, which is currently impossible.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Embark has addressed a severe bug that is causing unavoidable deaths for ARC Raiders players. Following the release of Flashpoint last week, fans quickly discovered that it was impossible to remove a Tick if the ARC attacks while a player is holding a battery or field crate. The bug has resulted in many players simply having to accept their fate and watch themselves die to a Tick. While the community has called upon Embark to address the issue, it doesn’t look like a fix has been included in the April 8 update. For all of the changes, check out the patch notes below.
