Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ winter roadmap focuses on three major milestones. Community-requested tweaks to traversal and movement are at the heart of the first feature update coming on February 17. Ubisoft is adding a full manual jump to Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and it’s spicing things up by throwing in a community parkour challenge. After February 17, players can share a 45–60 second, one-take video that depicts skillful parkour using the new manual jump mechanic. Entries must be shared on Twitter with #ACShadowsParkourChallenge by March 8. Then, the community gets to vote on March 16 and winners could snag a limited edition vinyl soundtrack signed by the development team, collector’s edition figures, or other goodies.

Alongside the updates on February 17, players will also get access to a detailed stat page and critical hits will see a visual update to make them both snappier and more apparent. The next update comes on March 10 with the release of the Claws of Awaji DLC on Switch 2 and the premium edition of the game. Finally, the winter roadmap’s last item is the one-year anniversary on March 20. That also coincides with the end of the one-year roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. It promises live streams and giveaways for participants, but details remain scant otherwise.
