Battlefield 6 has revealed its 2026 roadmap and once again confirmed that naval warfare is set to be introduced when Season 4 drops in the near future. The wait for naval combat to come to Battlefield 6 has been filled with anticipation, but that isn’t the only exciting feature planned to be added to the game this year.

A Battlefield 6 community update was shared by developers that listed all the main features that players can expect with Season 4 and also later down the road. Naval warfare in Battlefield 6 Season 4 is one of the biggest ones, and there have already been two maps confirmed for the update: Tsuru Reed and Wake Island. Beyond that, features like proximity chat, server browsers, ranked multiplayer, the arrival of Cairo Bazaar, and even sneak peeks at Season 5 plans have been teased.
