Borderlands 4 players have a fresh batch of SHiFT Codes that are available to be redeemed right now. However, alongside the usual offering of Golden Keys, there’s plenty of extra goodies up for grabs. As is the case with all ShiFT rewards in Borderlands 4, these codes won’t stick around forever, so players who want a quick injection of high-tier gear and loot may want to act sooner rather than later.
Borderlands 4 is a looter-shooter developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. Players can choose from one of four Vault Hunters and embark on a journey across the new planet of Kairos. SHiFT Code drops offer players plenty of loot to spice up adventuring.
New SHiFT Codes For Golden Keys and a Skin
There are a few new SHiFT Codes alongside the bevy of existing codes that remain active. The first is WH533-JXC9R-BSKSW-Z3BJB-RHJ55 for one Golden Key. However, to earn the reward, players must link 2K account on the ShiFT Code site. The expiration date is unknown. The next code is BH633-66F5C-WFBB5-33TJB-CBSR9, which provides the You’re So Vein skin for all Vault Hunters. This code expires on December 31, 2030.

Most of the above codes have a stated expiration date of December 31 or January 1st, but in 2030 and 2031. That’s the case for a lot of the cosmetic rewards, like Vault Hunter and Exho-4 skins. However, most of the Golden Keys do not have listed expiration dates. For the skins that are available for all characters, it’s unclear if they will be usable on new Vault Hunters like C4sh.
SHiFT Codes in Borderlands 4 are redeemable by players for Golden Keys and other cosmetic rewards in-game. Those Golden Keys can then be used on Golden Chests in certain questing hubs like The Launchpad to receive a shower of loot that’s scaled to a player’s current level. They are completely free gifts available to any and all players that manage to redeem the code before it’s no longer active. Redeeming SHiFT Codes is a straightforward process. Players can enter them directly through the SHiFT tab in the in-game Social menu or via the SHiFT website. Once accepted, rewards are typically delivered through the in-game mail system and can be claimed at the player’s convenience.
SHiFT Codes have long been a staple of the Borderlands ecosystem, offering everything from Golden Keys in Borderlands 4 to limited-time cosmetics. While the codes above are currently active, Gearbox frequently rotates its offerings, and expiration dates can vary. That makes timely redemption important, especially for players who don’t want to miss out on easy loot. While some may point out that there are better ways to reward player retention, it’s hard to argue against something that has a proven track record of working.
