World of Warcraft dataminers found a new, one-of-a-kind release coming to the game soon, but it’s not for everyone. With the release of update 12.1, called Curse of Ula’tek, World of Warcraft added a new zone, new activities, quests, gear, and plenty of collectibles. The game’s Curse of Ula’tek update is even adding the social media sensation Jimothy, a pet inspired by the real-life raccoon with short spine syndrome that lives in the Seattle, Washington area.
Reception to the Curse of Ula’tek update has been positive so far, though some fans are unhappy with the way World of Warcraft nerfed the best specs in the game with patch 12.1, even leaving Devastation Evoker broken. Players have a lot of adjusting to do with this update, which added the Coiled Isle, a huge Raid called Venomous Abyss, the Altar of Fangs Dungeon, and more, all while also increasing player health and monster damage by 25% across the board. Now, some fans have datamined an upcoming release that may play more into Midnight’s themes, but it won’t be free to obtain.
World of Warcraft is Adding Cash Shop Exclusive Mount With Unique Features
Dataminers have discovered a new, unreleased World of Warcraft mount called Hearthkeeper’s Wandering Caravan that is coming to the Cash Shop with presumably unique features related to housing. It’s unclear what features this mount will have, exactly, but it comes with a house on its back and two seats. This makes it very likely to have at least one new, exclusive feature dedicated to housing. Housing in World of Warcraft is already accessible from anywhere, but the mount could bypass the cooldown. The possible features include:
- No-Cooldown Housing Teleportation: Allows players to access housing from anywhere with no cooldowns.
- Neighborhood Features: Carries an NPC that gives players access to neighborhood features, such as accepting or completing Endeavor quests.
- Decorator Mode and Crafting: Carries crafting stations for housing items and/or allows players to access Decorator Mode while not inside their housing plot.

The problem is that a premium housing mount would inevitably be expensive. If World of Warcraft‘s $90 Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur mount is any indication, a premium mount with never-before-seen housing features and access could easily be just as expensive, if not more. This would make it very inaccessible, especially compared to regular Cash Shop offerings.
A housing mount in World of Warcraft was only a matter of time, assuming that the Hearthkeeper’s Wandering Caravan is one. The concept came years ago before housing was even a thing, simply because fans liked the idea of a mount with a house on its back.
Still, the Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur is very controversial among fans because of its steep price, and while it’s useful, many argue that it’s not worth the $90. Yet, World of Warcraft mounts with unique features are also popular because they offer unique in-game effects, and it seems very likely that the upcoming Hearthkeeper’s Wandering Caravan will do just that.
