The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta begins this Friday, August 21, and everyone who takes part will have a chance to earn special rewards.
As with previous Call of Duty betas, Activision is encouraging people to play by offering rewards for progressing through the ranks. The first reward, an emblem, is unlocked at level 4. The next, a charm, is unlocked at level 8, running all the way up to level 30. People who reach that cap will get a weapon blueprint.

Early access to the MW4 beta is available for people who preorder the game, or obtain a code by some other means. The open beta, meanwhile, is free and available to everyone August 28-September 1.
Ahead of the beta going live, Activision has released a new trailer showing off MW4’s multiplayer, and it looks pretty great.
In addition to multiplayer, the MW4 beta lets players try out a campaign mission, Entrenched, along with the new Warzone map, Zodiac.
MW4 launches on October 23, with access to the campaign unlocking one week early for people who preorder the game. The game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, as well as Nintendo Switch 2. It will be the first Call of Duty game on a Nintendo platform since 2013’s Call of Duty: Ghosts.
