CoD: Black Ops 7 Zombies – How To Build And Upgrade The Blundergat Wonder Weapon In Paradox Junction

Season 2 Reloaded is live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, bringing the brand-new Paradox Junction map to Zombies mode. Paradox Junction is set on Treyarch’s iconic Nuketown map, and it features the Blundergat Wonder Weapon originally introduced with Black Ops 2’s Mob of the Dead map. In this guide, we’ll show you how to gather the barrel, sealant, stock, and hammer parts needed to build the Blundergat Wonder Weapon, as well as how to upgrade it to the Sundergat.

How to find all parts for the Blundergat Wonder Weapon

The Blundergat is a craftable shotgun Wonder Weapon in Paradox Junction, and the weapon parts can be obtained in any order. You can skip around this guide and collect them however you choose, but we’ll be explaining this in our recommended order.

The four parts are as follows:

  • Barrel
  • Sealant
  • Stock
  • Hammer

All but one of these steps require you to unlock Pack-a-Punch on Paradox Junction as well as the past version of the map.

Mild spoilers: this map features two versions of Nuketown. You’ll be time traveling in Paradox Junction, so we’ll be referencing both a nuked “future” version of the map, and a “past” version where Nuketown is still intact.

You can only move through these two points in time by either advancing through a special round of zombies or using the Temporal Conduit.

Barrel part

You can find the barrel part for the Blundergat as early as round 1. This part is a randomly dropped item awarded from the Loot Cysts around the map. Loot Cysts, as shown in the image above, are the glowing sacs found all around the map. You need to feed souls to the cysts by killing zombies near them. Once you’ve fed it enough souls, it will complete and reward you with a loot drop.

There are several Loot Cysts, so keep trying and eventually one will reward you by dropping the barrel part.

Sealant part

The sealant is the easiest part to get. Anytime you are in the past version of the map, go upstairs in the yellow house bedroom. The sealant part can be found on the left side of the bottom shelf.

Stock part

After unlocking Pack-a-Punch and traveling to the past, head back to the future version of Nuketown. You want to look for three locations where walls looked cracked and oozing with black goo, as shown in the image above. The wall spawns might be random, but these are the areas where we found ours:

  • In the garage of the yellow house
  • At the top of the stairs in the green house
  • On the right side wall in the alley on Trinity Ave

You want to travel back to the past and find the same locations. You won’t see any busted goo spots on the wall in the past, but these are still weak points where you can toss an explosive to blow out the wall. You can even use a loadout gun with a mounted grenade launcher attachment or use a rocket launcher.

Destroy all of them and head back to the future map. All three wall spots will be blown open. One of the three locations will reveal the Blundergat’s stock part.

Hammer part

No Caption Provided

While in the nuked future version of the map, head upstairs inside the yellow house and grab the vial from the table.

Take the vial across the street to the kitchen inside the green house. Interact with the sink to fill the basin with acid, and then interact again to fill the vial with acid. You’ll know when your vial is filled because the vial will turn green in your inventory.

Take the vial back to the past, and use the acid on the mannequin heads. There are some headless mannequins on the map, but you can ignore these. Only use it on the ones that have a head. Doing this will melt the mannequins in the future version of the map, so you’ll need to transport back to the nuked variant to see if one dropped the hammer part.

No Caption Provided

You can only use the vial on three heads at a time. This is another random drop, so it can be awarded from any of the full-body mannequins on the map. Use the vial on three heads, and then repeat the steps to refill the acid in the sink if you need to try again with three more heads.

Eventually, a melted head in the future will award you with the hammer part for the Blundergat.

How to build the Blundergat Wonder Weapon

No Caption Provided

Take all four Blundergat parts to the future version of the map. You can build the Blundergat Wonder Weapon at a weapon bench found inside the truck at the center of Nuketown. Open the door to access the truck’s interior. To use the workbench inside, you first need to melee the bench, and then it will allow you to interact with it and craft the Blundergat Wonder Weapon.

You need to make sure you interact with the table to grab the Blundergat off the workbench.

How to upgrade the Blundergat to the Sundergat

Once you’ve finished the quest steps to assemble the Blundergat Wonder Weapon, you can now upgrade the weapon to the more powerful Sundergat variant.

No Caption Provided

A fire tornado will start spawning on the map after you build the Blundergat. You need to be on the future version of the map, and it might take a few rounds before a tornado shows up.

The tornado can appear in one of three locations:

  • Behind yellow house
  • Behind green house
  • In the alley on Trinity Ave

Getting close to the tornado will free the zombie inside, and it will drop to the ground. A blue glowing orb of energy will attach to the zombie as it chases you. The goal is to lead the blue zombie to the workbench (where you build the Blundergat) inside the truck, and kill the zombie when it’s close to the workbench.

No Caption Provided

If you’re playing solo, I’d recommend killing off all but a few zombies, because the regular zombies can kill the blue zombie or even overwhelm you.

Only one fire tornado spawns per round, so if your blue zombie dies, you’ll fail the round and need to wait for another.

You need to repeat the tornado step three times. The first two times you’re just freeing a regular blue zombie to the workbench. On the third and final time, the tornado will spawn a mimic elite zombie. It will turn blue, and you need to kill this mimic by the workbench.

Now, the workbench inside the truck should be charged up and glowing blue. Head back to the past version of the map. Melee the workbench and interact with it to place the Blundergat inside.

Then, return to the future and interact with the workbench again to receive the Blundergat as the upgraded Sundergat variant.
