If you were one of the people burned by Cyberpunk 2077’s busted launch in 2020 and have been hesitant to go back to Night City despite the game-altering updates and the excellent Phantom Liberty expansion, would CD Projekt Red’s open-world RPG coming to Game Pass finally be enough to bring you back? Because it’s arriving on the service later this month.
Xbox announced March’s lineup of Game Pass games, and Cyberpunk 2077 is on the list. The RPG will be available on both cloud and console on March 10. This does just include the base game, so if you want to play Phantom Liberty, you’ll have to grab it as a second purchase, but if you like the base game, I can’t recommend the expansion enough, as it encapsulates all the best parts of Cyberpunk 2077 in an excellent spy thriller co-starring Idris Elba. But try the main game out and see how you feel first. The best time to try the game again was 2023, the second best time is right now when it’s available to Game Pass subscribers.
