The Kickstarter campaign for the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game has officially come to a close with nearly $27 million raised. This makes the upcoming Cyberpunk game the most successful TCG project in Kickstarter’s history by a massive margin.
The project itself was unveiled in mid-March 2026 by WeirdCo, a Seattle-based company “founded for the deep human connection that TCGs create,” according to its website. The crowdfunding campaign went live alongside the announcement, with Cyberpunk TCG surpassing its $100,000 target on Kickstarter in mere minutes.

Cyberpunk TCG Breaks Kickstarter’s TCG Crowdfunding Record by Over $11 Million
The campaign officially ended on April 17, at 7 p.m. ET, raising exactly $26,953,978, thus exceeding its crowdfunding target nearly 27 times over. Weeks before that happened, Cyberpunk TCG already became Kickstarter’s most successful project in the trading card game sphere, when it dethroned Cosmere RPG on April 1. The TCG based on Brandon Sanderson’s fantasy universe previously raised $15.15 million over a four-week period ending August 2024. Cosmere RPG reached that total with more than 55,000 backers, while WeirdCo’s Cyberpunk project reported 47,676 backers.
Everyone who backed the Cyberpunk TCG Kickstarter is guaranteed to receive all the cards and other optional add-ons that they ordered, because the campaign items will be printed on demand. WeirdCo has also made the same guaranteed allocation pledge for all pre-orders placed through licensed distributors by May 1, 2026. On a related note, the company is still accepting sign-ups for its retailer program through its official website, weirdco.net. Some Cyberpunk TCG cards from the higher backer tiers are listed as exclusive to the crowdfunding effort, though the majority of them are expected to eventually make their way to retail. Those who qualified for express shipping by pledging $375 or more will start receiving their orders in the third quarter of 2026. The second fulfillment wave is planned for Q4 2026.
More Cyberpunk Games Are Coming in 2026
WeirdCo’s TCG is not the only addition to the Cyberpunk universe that is due to arrive in 2026. Back in March, CD Projekt Red also unveiled Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush, a twin arcade cabinet with two replicas of the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X motorcycles from its hit game. The bikes serve as both seats and controllers for a vehicular combat game in the vein of EA’s Road Rash series, which also possibly inspired the cabinet’s name. Developed in partnership with China-based arcade company UNIS Technology, Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush is currently scheduled to start shipping in May 2026. CDPR has not publicly disclosed its price.

Separately, CDPR is also working on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Hunted Board Game, announced in early April 2026 and currently targeting a September 2026 launch. This will be the second tabletop game based on the company’s 2020 RPG, after Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City, another Kickstarter project that was shipped to backers in 2023 and saw a wider release the following year. The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, code-named Project Orion, remains in development, having entered pre-production as of May 2025. That suggests it is likely to be CDPR’s second or third major release from this point, with The Witcher 4 expected to arrive first.
