Barbour briefly discussed the situation surrounding the incident, with his son Davis repeatedly disrespecting him throughout the course of the trip. Barbour had threatened to throw his son’s Nintendo Switch console out of the car window, only for the disrespect to continue and the child to call his bluff. The father later expressed his regret at the situation, given how much his son loved his Nintendo Switch console, though he did share that it “felt good” at the moment after seeing the disbelief on his son’s face.

Replies to Barbour’s video were filled with plenty of other parents expressing their support for the father’s actions.
