Destiny 2 players can now easily farm one of the most annoying Dungeon bosses in the game completely solo and AFK. Destiny 2‘s sudden and unceremonious death was announced on May 21, stating that the game would get one final update on June 9, called Monument of Triumph, and stop all development thereafter. Developers at Bungie tried their best to deliver a good experience for new and veteran players alike, dramatically improving all aspects of the game, while giving fans ample room to make all the builds they wanted.
In fact, a big reason the update feels so refreshing despite marking the game’s end is that it breathed new life into all the destinations with new armor sets and weapon perk pools, while also giving players multiple Artifacts to choose from. There are seven Artifacts in Destiny 2‘s Monument of Triumph update, each with unique perks to be used for buildcrafting purposes. Not only that, but each element received new tools, such as a new Aspect for Solar Titan, Void Warlock, and Void Hunter, and a new grenade for both Stasis and Strand.
Destiny 2 Players Can Solo One-Phase Sundered Doctrine Boss AFK With One Ability
Destiny 2 player ItsNotSoar shared a post on Twitter demonstrating how anyone can solo AFK farm the Zoetic Lockset boss in the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon with a Solar Warlock. This can be done by using the Dawn Chorus Exotic, Incinerator Snap, Ember of Char, Ember of Ashes, and the Solar Fulmination mod from the Hunter’s Journal Artifact. This combo creates a chain of ignitions that procs on the boss, ignites the nearby part of the Lockset via multiple scorch applications, then ignites and repeats the process in reverse. Players can achieve this by using Incinerator Snap on the leftmost Lockset, then taking cover behind a wall and waiting for the infinite ignitions to one-phase the boss.

In the video, ItsNotSoar has two teammates, but as they stated in a comment, they are “mostly along for the ride” and the boss is doable entirely solo. There may be damage coming the players’ way even if they hide, but Solar Warlock has access to Healing Grenade, Healing Rift, and the Song of Flame Super to gain a whopping 90% damage resistance. As such, once Incinerator Snap is cast and ignitions start going off, players can simply watch the screen and occasionally heal if needed. Solar Warlock is very strong in the current state of the game, and it can also solo Destiny 2‘s Last Wish Raid’s Riven, to then switch to Void for solo Queenswalk too.
Zoetic Lockset has some of the best loot in Destiny 2‘s Sundered Doctrine Dungeon, so players can repeatedly farm Unloved, Unsworn, and Unvoiced, as well as helm, arms, and legs from the Sundered Doctrine armor. All three weapons are very good, and especially Unloved and Unsworn are some of the best in the game in their respective categories.
It’s worth noting that the clip is from this week, when Sundered Doctrine is featured. This means that players can farm T5 armor in Destiny 2 easily, whereas they need Master difficulty to achieve the same once the Dungeon is out of rotation. Even then, though, the primary appeal is to get good guns, and even as T3 drops, they can be upgraded with Ascendant Alloy, whereas the same doesn’t apply to armor.
