To get the new pet, players must progress through the storyline of the World of Warcraft: Midnight expansion. Upon completing its introduction questline and earning the “Echoes of Midnight” achievement, the Bawkhaus pet will be unlocked. Some gamers will have been planning to play the new World of Warcraft expansion anyway, so earning the Bawkhaus pet was just a nice extra bonus. However, for those who weren’t intending to play, the chance to unlock a free Diablo 4 cosmetic may be the push they need to pick up the latest expansion for Blizzard’s long-running MMORPG.
