As the Xbox Game Pass lineup for June 2026 starts to take shape, one thing is abundantly clear: it’s missing a statement single-player RPG for gamers to dig their teeth into. While there’s still a strong variety of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass next month, recent months have seen gamers better served in the RPG department than the upcoming offerings will.
Xbox Game Pass offers gamers a vast library of games to enjoy on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S consoles for one flat monthly fee. It features a revolving door of titles coming and going, and some have argued that Xbox Game Pass offers the best value in gaming. No matter their favorite genre, gamers can usually find something to their taste in the Game Pass library.

Xbox Game Pass June 2026 Lineup Is Missing a Statement Single-Player RPG
There are currently five games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in June 2026. Beastro is a unique cooking roguelike, Denshattack! is a rapid skating game that is an assault on the senses, Frog Sqwad is a fun co-op puzzle platformer, and Vapor World: Over the Mind is a narrative-driven soulslike platformer. Different strokes for different folks, to be sure. The fifth title is The Elder Scrolls Online, which, while it is an MMORPG, doesn’t quite scratch the same itch as a single-player RPG that gamers can really get lost in.

It’s worth noting that 2026 has been an incredible year for RPGs on Xbox Game Pass. January kicked off with Final Fantasy 1, with Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Avowed, and The Witcher 3 Complete Edition following in February. The subscription service kept the momentum into March with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Disco Elysium: The Final Cut. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Final Fantasy 4, and Oblivion Remastered arrived in April, and gamers were treated to Final Fantasy 5 in May. It has been an excellent run for RPG fans on Xbox Game Pass, and it would be a big shame if it didn’t continue into June with another major title.
Xbox Game Pass users still have plenty to look forward to throughout the rest of the year, with plenty of confirmed titles currently without release dates. Games like Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, and Halo: Campaign Evolved should all come to Game Pass on day one, and there will no doubt be even more excellent games revealed as 2026 progresses.

Xbox is currently in a transition period after Phil Spencer’s retirement back in February 2026. Spencer was replaced by Asha Sharma as CEO, who has been signaling major changes in Xbox’s direction going forward. One of her first significant moves was to cut the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which she claimed had “become too expensive for too many players.” This also meant that future Call of Duty titles would no longer arrive on the platform on day one, but feedback on the change was overall positive. The future looks bright under Sharma’s leadership, but it remains to be seen whether Xbox can maintain the recent strong momentum.
