The developers at Gameloft are doing that once again, this time through a special code that can be redeemed in the game’s menu. By redeeming the code BACKTODDV26, players will receive a letter in their in-game mailbox with 250 free Moonstones. In addition to the free Moonstones, the letter also includes 2,500 Dreamlight and 2,500 Star Coins. It’s currently unclear when that code will expire, so players might want to redeem it as soon as possible.

Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s Season of Scares launched earlier in September, kicking off the title’s Halloween celebration. The game’s newest free update adds Oogie Boogie, the central antagonist from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Premium Shop is also putting a spotlight on the Tim Burton classic, with options like a Halloween Town House, a Pumpkin King Costume, and the Ghostly “Zero” Fox bundle that includes a companion dressed up as Jack Skellington’s beloved ghost dog. Players can also put their newly acquired Moonstones towards the current Star Path, which is titled Haunted Elegance.
Monetization has been one of the most controversial aspects of Disney Dreamlight Valley since the game’s launch. Gameloft originally planned Disney Dreamlight Valley as a free-to-play game, but instead opted to make it a paid title.
