Epic Games Store Officially Reveals Its May 7 Free Games

The Epic Games Store has officially revealed Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure and Trash Goblin as its free games for May 7. The colorful indie titles will be the third and fourth freebies that Epic Games Store users can claim in May 2026, following a pair of offers that recently went live.

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure is the debut release from Furniture and Mattress, a small indie studio co-founded by developers with notable puzzle-game credentials, including Braid artist David Hellman, Carto writer Nick Suttner, and Ethereal designer Nicolás Recabarren. First revealed in February 2024, Arranger won the Best Game from Latin America award at Gamescom Latam in the lead-up to its July 2024 release. Conversely, Trash Goblin is a 2025 shopkeeping sim from London-based Spilt Milk Studios. It tasks players with discovering, restoring, and selling countless trinkets in order to upgrade their workshop and make a better living in its cozy world.

Every Free Game Released On The Epic Games Store (May 2026)

Here’s a list of all the games that have been made free on the Epic Games Store. You have until May 7 to get the current free games.

Arranger and Trash Goblin Debut as an Epic Games Store Freebies Next Week

As soon as the Epic Games Store’s Doomblade giveaway came to an end on April 30, the storefront revealed Arranger and Trash Goblin as its May 7 freebies. The games will be available to claim for exactly seven days, until May 14 at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET / 5 p.m. CET. Both Arranger and Trash Goblin typically retail for $19.99, with the former having an added benefit of working on macOS in addition to Windows. Neither title has been free on the Epic Games Store in the past.

In terms of critical acclaim, Arranger is one of the highest-rated puzzle adventures that Epic has offered in a while. Over on OpenCritic, the 2024 title currently holds a “Strong” rating, based on 38 reviews with an average score of 80 and a 75% recommendation rate. Although framed as a light RPG-style adventure, Arranger‘s moment-to-moment gameplay centers on moving tiles containing pathways, keys, enemies, and traps. Many reviewers praised the sliding-block mechanic as accessible and addictive, describing the overall package as a charming adventure with broad appeal. Arranger takes approximately five hours to beat on average, though completionists may find enough content for roughly eight hours of gameplay.

Epic Games Store Free Games Right Now (April 30 – May 14)

Trash Goblin and Arranger will mark the second pair of freebies that Epic Games Store users can add to their accounts in May 2026. The first two offers have just gone live as part of Epic’s April 30 giveaway, which includes Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure and a sizable content bundle for free-to-play idle RPG Firestone.

Throughout the first quarter of 2026, Epic often gave away two games per week. That cadence slowed considerably in April, though this newly announced promotion will mark a return to the dual-giveaway format. The Epic Games Store’s May 14 giveaway is expected to be announced on May 7, when Arranger and Trash Goblin become available to claim.
