Final Fantasy 14 Is Crossing Over With Jollibee

Final Fantasy 14 Is Crossing Over With Jollibee

Square Enix announced a new crossover between Final Fantasy 14 and Jollibee, which includes a line of themed merchandise and a way for more players to get the rare “Eat Chicken” emote in-game. However, the upcoming collaboration between Final Fantasy 14 and Jollibee will be exclusive to customers in the US and Canada, and will run for approximately a month.

The crossover between Final Fantasy 14 and Jollibee will start amid a busy time for Square Enix’s critically-acclaimed MMORPG. Final Fantasy 14 will launch Patch 7.5, Trail to the Heavens, on Tuesday, April 28. While new main story quests and the last segment of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid series will be available on April 28, other Patch 7.5 features will be released over several months. The upcoming Beastmaster Limited Job will be released in one of Patch 7.5’s subsequent updates later in 2026.

Final Fantasy 14 Makes Important Online Store Change

Square Enix reverts a Final Fantasy 14 Online Store change that will make it easier for players to pick out a gift for their friends.

Final Fantasy 14 Players Should Make A Trip To Jollibee

Although Final Fantasy 14‘s 7.5 content update is loaded with new features, Square Enix had one additional surprise for fans. During the final segment of Letter from the Producer Live Part 92, Final Fantasy 14 producer and director Naoki Yoshida revealed that FF14 will have a crossover with Jollibee restaurants, though the collaboration will be exclusive to customers in the US and Canada. The campaign will run from Tuesday, April 21 to Sunday, May 31, at various Jollibee locations in the US and Canada. By ordering a Final Fantasy 14 Box Meal, or a Final Fantasy 14 Six-Piece Bucket Bundle, players can submit their receipt number to claim the rare Eat Chicken emote. The emote can also be obtained by purchasing Final Fantasy 14 x Jollibee merchandise via Complex. Players will then receive an item code via email that can be redeemed via the Mog Station for the Eat Chicken emote.

However, this isn’t the first time that Final Fantasy 14 players have had to get the elusive Eat Chicken emote. The emote was previously featured in the fall of 2023, when Final Fantasy 14 crossed over with KFC Japan for a limited-time promotion. True to its name, the previous collaboration with KFC was exclusive to customers in Japan, and the Eat Chicken emote could only be used by players who have stated that their Final Fantasy 14 accounts were made for use in Japan. Now, less than three years later, more players will have a chance to obtain the rare Eat Chicken emote.

All promotional offers and merchandise related to the Final Fantasy 14 x Jollibee crossover are only available while supplies last. Plus, a valid shipping address in the US or Canada will be required for merchandise purchases. Users have until November 30, 2026, to submit an eligible receipt to claim the Eat Chicken emote item code.

Final Fantasy 14 Is No Stranger To Crossovers

When it comes to crossovers, Final Fantasy 14 has hosted many collaborations with different games and TV shows. In October 2025, Final Fantasy 14 launched a permanent collaboration event with Monster Hunter Wilds, as FF14 players can take on the iconic Guardian Arkveld in The Windward Wilds trial battle. Additionally, Final Fantasy 14 hosted some recurring crossover events with other games, such as Fall Guys, Dragon Quest, and Yo-Kai Watch.

To celebrate the upcoming Anaheim FanFest, Final Fantasy 14 released a few cosmetics based on Final Fantasy 7, including the Hardy-Daytona motorcycle mount and a Wind-up Red XIII minion. Though fans have speculated that Final Fantasy 14‘s next expansion could take inspiration from Final Fantasy 7, it remains to be seen what Square Enix’s plans are for the upcoming FanFest convention.
