WWE 2K26 is giving fans a new sneak peek at two new wrestlers coming to the game with the upcoming WrestleMania 42 DLC, showing off new versions of Cody Rhodes and Alexa Bliss. The DLC will include new wrestlers, a WrestleMania 42 arena, and more added to WWE 2K26.
The newest entry in the annual wrestling franchise from Visual Concepts brought plenty to excite fans with its launch in March. The game included a revamped Showcase mode centered on fan-favorite WWE superstar CM Punk, highlighting some of the biggest moments from his career in WWE. Visual Concepts also pushed significant improvements to some of the WWE 2K series’ most popular game modes, including adding the WWE Draft to Universe Mode and overhauling the story of MyRise Mode. Now, WWE 2K26 is honoring one of wrestling’s biggest events of the year in its newest DLC.
Cody Rhodes and Alexa Bliss Are Getting New Looks in WWE 2K26 DLC
WWE 2K26 officially showed two new personas for popular wrestlers being added with the WrestleMania 42 DLC. Cody Rhodes will receive a stunning new outfit based on his appearance on Night 1 of WrestleMania 42, with a gold-scaled jacket and the skull mask he wore during his intro. Alexa Bliss will also receive a new persona based on the event, donning the butterfly dress that she wore alongside tag-team partner Charlotte Flair for their match on Night 1. WWE 2K26‘s WrestleMania 42 DLC is scheduled to release on August 19 and will be available for $9.99.
Both of the main wrestlers appearing in the WrestleMania 42 DLC played a major role in the WWE’s biggest spectacle of the year. Reigning champion Cody Rhodes was one half of a highly-anticipated main event on Night 1, defending and ultimately retaining the WWE Undisputed Championship against WWE legend Randy Orton. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair both participated in a fatal four-way tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, though the team of Brie Bella and Paige emerged from the match as the new champions.
New wrestlers aren’t the only additions coming to WWE 2K26 as part of the new DLC. Both the Night 1 and Night 2 arenas for WrestleMania 42 are being added to the game with the DLC’s release, allowing fans to recreate the greatest moments from WWE’s biggest event of the year. Liv Morgan will also receive her own WrestleMania-themed persona alongside the addition of her new entrance music, “Trouble,” which she debuted during her match against Stephanie Vaquer on Night 1.
The WrestleMania 42 DLC pack follows shortly after the launch of the newest season of WWE 2K26‘s Ringside Pass. The seasonal update welcomed the addition of WWE tag team legends Matt and Jeff Hardy to the game, alongside popular musician Jelly Roll and former Lucha Libre AAA women’s champion Lady Shani. Visual Concepts has already teased multiple wrestlers planned for future seasons of Ringside Pass as well, including Danhausen, Brie Bella, and Royce Keys. WWE 2K26 continues to provide reasons for fans to dive back into the franchise’s newest entry, adding more content with each passing month.
