There has never been a Five Nights at Freddy’s collaboration in Fortnite, but an under-construction building on the game’s map has given people hope. Well-known leaker HYPEX shared on X that another user named AlignedEclipse has spotted a structure that looks similar to the pizzeria housing Freddy Fazbear and Chicka the Chicken.
To further fuel the Five Nights at Freddy’s crossover fire, inside this building is a stage, according to AlignedEclipse. The newest season of Fortnite is focused on video games, and it’s called Override. Sonic the Hedgehog is part of the game’s battle pass, while Mega Man and Crash Bandicoot–among other characters–are planned to come to the game soon. In that regard, Five Nights at Freddy’s would fit in with those franchises.
The speculation also posits that maybe the collaboration will time up with Fortnitemares, a yearly event in the battle-royale game based on Halloween. Previously, Five Nights at Freddy’s has collaborated with Dead by Daylight, bringing Springtrap and Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza to the latter title. However, nothing is official, and it’s possible Fortnite is just making something reminiscent of the point-and-click survival-horror game.
Five Nights at Freddy’s has recently turned into a successful film franchise, even though the sequel received bear-y bad reviews. Meanwhile, the last game in the series was Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic, which came out last year.
