Rumors have spread across the Fortnite community regarding the possibility of karaoke coming to the Fortnite Festival game mode. There are so many gameplay possibilities in Fortnite that nearly every type of gamer will find something for themselves when playing it. While Battle Royale is considered the main game mode in Fortnite, there are several official game modes that may suit players’ preferences better and even be more enjoyable to play. Additionally, there are also thousands of Creative maps that come in all shapes and sizes, making it possible for players to select any type of game.
Whether they like tycoons, PvE, simulation, or just about anything else, Fortnite Creative likely has it. As for official game modes, fans can pick from a wide selection as well; there is Fortnite OG, Fortnite Reload, Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Ballistic, Rocket Racing, and, most recently, Arenas Boxfights. Even though some Fortnite game modes are being removed soon due to a lack of players, Fortnite Festival is one of the few that will remain. However, its Battle Stage mode won’t make the cut and will be removed on April 16.

Rumor Indicates that Fortnite Festival Season 14 Will Include Karaoke
April 16 is when the next Fortnite update drops, vaulting Fortnite Ballistic and Fortnite Festival Battle Stage while making Save the World free-to-play for all. Despite these removals, it will still be a pretty big day for players, as it is the launch of Fortnite Festival Season 14. This news is already exciting enough for fans of the game mode, but perhaps even bigger than a new Music Pass is a major feature that is rumored to become available on the same day; according to leaker BeastFNCreative, karaoke is coming to Fortnite with the release of update 40.20, and it will be dubbed Pro Vocals.
In Fortnite Festival, gamers can pick which part of the band they’d like to play when selecting a song. While vocals are an option, they would still have to press keys on their controller or keyboard along to the song in order to score points. Obviously, it would be much more realistic if players were given the option to plug a microphone into their console or computer and sing it aloud in real life. This has been a long-awaited feature in Fortnite for a while now, and if the rumors turn out to be true, fans will finally get their wish.
While Battle Stage will no longer be available, players can still enjoy the basic Fortnite Festival game mode. This means that they can still select their favorite jam tracks in Fortnite and play along to them in-game.

It would be great if the rumor of karaoke coming to Fortnite turned out to be true. However, players will have to wait until v40.20 goes live to know so. Thankfully, players know when the next Fortnite updates are coming, so they know that they won’t have to wait long. On Thursday, April 16, Season 14 of Fortnite Festival, featuring Laufey, goes live, and hopefully, it’ll also include the launch of Pro Vocals.
